I was late getting in to ATL and the next flight home wasn't until 9am the next morning. After a long day of flight delays I was so appreciative of friendly desk personnel, a clean room, and a heavenly bed! A hot shower after only 4 hours sleep (but the sleep was sound) and it made the long delays much less painful.

The place wasnt the cleanest in the lobby and halls. There was a towel in the hallway for example. It smelled like old food in the lobby and the halls, pretty gross. My body wash was empty in our shower as well.

The room was a nice size. There's only one set of towels. The room was booked for two people. My son used one of the set of towels in the evening. When it was my turn to take a shower in the morning before my appointment there were no clean towels. I did not have time to call to get cleaned house. So I ended up having to use a sundress that I had in my luggage. At check-in on Saturday there were about 75 people in the lobby partying. There were kids running around and adults talking loudly and laughing and dancing and music. There was a sign that said that the check-in staff was in the restroom. So I waited about 30 seconds and she came out. she was friendly but it was very hard to hear her and for her to hear me due to the crowd noise. I felt like I was in a nightclub. I don't know if it's like this every weekend or if it was a family reunion. But if so there should be a separate area for this. As soon as I left I saw the check-in staff put the sign back up that she was in the restroom. This could be because of the crowd because even when I was standing there there were people coming up to her interrupting for who knows what reason and just to talk. She didn't seem very thrilled by the whole situation which I don't blame her.
