SpringHill Suites by Marriott Atlanta Downtown

For a smoke free supposed location the sheets reeked of cigarettes. I never saw a smile from a single staff member. We paid 55 dollars extra for valet and was never available when we needed help or seemed annoyed when asked. Paid for a bigger room when for my family and my children kept getting g injured on the jagged non movable furniture. This stay was so bad and misleading we almost left and went home 8 hrs away. Everything

Top tier service from the valet to the desk were very helpful and the room had an amazing view.

The shower handle was loose and toilet was not working properly

Overall i enjoyed my stay.

Only complaint I have is the valet parking. It’s an inconvenience, since there is only one way in and out. I had to wait a while to check in because I could not pull into parking garage due to other families leaving. Valet staff were amazing tho.

Room was not clean looking. Stains on walls, leather on headboard torn, stains on pull out sofa bed. Was given a key to a room that was occupied and walked in on people. Had to go back to front desk for another room which was as described above. Parking garage is pretty sketchy, I was asked to reverse out into the street to let someone get out. I left and booked another hotel, it was a terrible experience for me, my wife and kids.

We stayed in a 1 King Bed - sofa bed and it accommodated my family of 5 perfectly (the kids took the bed and we took the sofa bed). The room was clean and the location was perfect since the attractions we were visiting was LITERALLY right across the street. We could see the whale shark covering to the Georgia Aquarium from our hotel window which the kids LOVED! On our next visit, we will FOR SURE be booking and staying at this hotel again!
