Moxy Atlanta Downtown

The food and drinks were good, the room was nice but all my dissapointment is centered around the fact that I specifically paid for a room with a city view, as someone who lives locally I was very excited for that view. The only view I got was of the abandoned looking building across the street. When I booked it said there were 5 additional city view rooms, so I’m not sure what happened there.

Beautiful place

My stay at the Moxy Downtown was a pleasant experience. The hotel is modern and lively. I was greeted with a cocktail during checkin which was a plus. My only recommendation for anyone booking is to call ahead to see if there is a special or private event if you’re looking to make use of the rooftop bar/lounge as part of the amenities. Eggslut was a good starter breakfast and there is nearby attractions in the area in walking distance of your looking to explore. I will visit again!

Everything was so perfect!

The only problem I had was the FIFTA Soccer semifinals where held the day I was to check in and all streets to the hotel were blocked by the police because of the celebration. I was not able to get to my room until after midnight. This after a long day in the air.

This is actually the first I'm hearing about it, but I have to say it again: that hotel? It's got such a cool vibe. Seriously, from the moment you walk up to the check-in counter, through the bar area, and even just looking around the hotel itself, it's all just really well done. It feels like they put a lot of thought into the design. The staff really made the place, honestly. It had such a great feel to it, you know? You could see them bustling around the hotel and bar, and they just looked genuinely pleased to be there, with real smiles. I'd absolutely return, no question.

Too noisy - asked for a quiet room and was put on street side 9th floor right below a night flu’s subwoofer that went non-stop until 2am. Then the trains street side started at 5am. Great staff, super friendly but not a place where you can actually sleep - more like a nightclub with bedrooms attached.

Room offered I was told could be loud so they had sound machine and ear plugs. No thank you . 40 min later for a room with no city review which I paid for but was quiet and in consideration they took 100.00 off bill. Room had NO amenities on room including bottled water nor coffee or tea or bathroom amenities .zero. I called down and told this was the concept of hotel . What concept no anything ? The manager called and offered me free water which they supplied but when they delivered the water they never. Made up the room. I returned after game to see room just as I left it I called and asked for housekeeping and was told they only service every 3 days. I dis t believe that and asked for manager who was understanding the day before . I was told he and everyone else had just left ? I didn’t believe that either but I said I will never stay at another moxy or Marriott property or and probably not use Expedia . This morning I went down for coffee and my faith was restored by Staff at from t desk Caroline who assured me she would tell my concerns to manager . I think she will . She was very understanding

I like that the hotel had both a rooftop bar and a bar downstairs. I would recommend not getting a higher up room because you can hear the music from the rooftop bar. That is also a plus because if you want to go upstairs, you are only one floor away! The staff was friendly and they had treats in the lobby where you check-in. Everyone greets you every time you walk in and there is a cafe in the lobby where you can pick up some food without leaving the building. The room was beautifully and uniquely decorated and the convivence of grabbing towels or toiletries in the hall was great! I would definitely stay here again and would suggest this hotel if you are a young adult or like night life.

Really LOVED this place!! So trendy. Staff was amazing. Loved the location and just how cool the entire place was. Lobby had games and a bar and was a great place to hang out.

We were in Atlanta for four days on business, but thanks to the incredible hospitality, it truly felt like a vacation. Every member of the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive, and the hotel was impeccably clean—far exceeding our expectations. We enjoyed dinner at the hotel and made reservations for the rooftop, both of which were fantastic. The food was exceptional, and the drinks at the bar were just as impressive. We also had breakfast at The Eggslut, and it was absolutely delicious. From the outstanding service to the beautiful atmosphere, every part of our stay was exceptional. I’ve been telling everyone back home about what a wonderful experience we had at the Moxy. We can’t wait to come back!

The water pressure is very low in the showers. There is food downstairs and the eggslut restaurant is delicious. The vibes were great, there is no free self-parking. The valet and eggslut are inconveniently cashless. The main lights in our room were burnt out. It was decent.

Jazzy at check in was the best! The hotel was very modern & well taken care of. The valet guys were so helpful & kind. Would definitely return!
