Wingate by Wyndham Atlanta Galleria/Ballpark

We had a great stay at Wingate by Wyndham near the Battery/Cobb Galleria area. Awesome for being able to just walk across to the Braves games, experiences indoor skydiving at Ifly next door and the pool and breakfast were also great. We did have a power outage during our stay out of everyone’s control and did not bother us much. The staff were all friendly to us and the place was clean and well kept. We will be back for sure

The pillows were the worst I have ever had in any motel. I couldn’t get hot water in the sink, the hot water was “warm” in the shower and not enough water pressure.

Great location for ball park

I had a horrible mattress. One side sank right to the box spring. When I told them, I didn’t even get an apology. She just said, thank you for tell us.

Room could have been cleaner, broken shower curtain.

Great 2 night stay

Everything was very nice. Although the breakfast attendant could have been a little more courteous. I think it was rude the way she turned off the juice machine as people were trying to fill their cups. She could have waited a few minutes until the area was clear.

Perfect for our short stay. The shuttle to Truist was convenient and location was great.

The staff was super kind and accommodating, everything was well-maintained and clean, and the price was good!

The ac was on point Elevators were kinda sketchy, needed the pullout sofa bed and went to get sheets and pillows, had the sheets but no pillows. Pool chairs just were very flimsy. Too much air freshener in hallways. Hardly any water pressure. Its updated but you could tell it was patch work.

Location and price We stayed 2 nights,..house keeping didn't change out our towels or empty the trash while we were there. And our a/c was noisy.

Great Hotel nice and clean

It was clean and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were very pleasant.

The floor and room smelled really bad. One staff person was helpful. One wasn’t. The AC was out in the gym which made for an uncomfortable workout. It was also rather warm in the lobby.

The only good thing I found at your hotel was the parking.

The check in staff was so kind and helpful. Convenient location. Price was good. Free parking and breakfast are a plus. So the downside: The hotel is right by the interstate and it was VERY loud. Bring ear plugs and white noise machine. I was skeptical of the bad reviews due to noise but they’re right. It’s loud. Fine for a night, with earplugs, and traveling solo. But I would’ve not liked to stay here with my kids for sure. And I won’t stay here again. Unfortunate lack of noise mitigation for an otherwise good hotel. Not much they can do about it.

This has become my default choice for visiting Atlanta. Right across the street from the ballpark and the Gallaria and the ballpark, great staff, clean rooms. Only negatives are highway noise but it's really only an issue for the rooms closest to it and the parkling lot lights which feel like they were borrowed from the ballpark and will make you feel like you're in Times Square. The blackout shade does a great job blocking it out, though.

Even though the game was rained out, the proximity to the battery, the free shuttle, the helpful staff were all great and made what could have been a bummer into a still fun experience!
