Best Western Atlantic City Beach Block

Overall just a lower quality hotel. Stains on the carpet in the room and hallway. As soon as you enter the hotel it smells musty. Dust in the bathroom ceiling fan. After seeing the hotel room, I had zero expectations or desire for the breakfast, however out of curiosity I wanted to see what they were serving. The continental breakfast is truly disgusting, it included stale pastries, some type of egg, sausages, an apple, and yogurt from a yogurt machine that my friend informed me tasted funny. I only staying overnight. I would not stay again.

Room was clean at first glance but pillows had stains as well and there was a lot of discolaration and stains on the lamp shades. Pillows were also very small. Shower was awful, the water pressure was non existent and was just sprinkling out of the shower head. Also made a huge mess in the bathroom as water leaked everywhere. It got the job done since we were in town for a concert but if i was staying the weekend for a vacation I would not stay here.

The breakfast area was kept cleaned, and the food was provided as soon as it became low. The two night the TV did not work and staff had to come up to fix it which took 20 minutes. First night-no picture; Second night- no sound. I didn’t like the property carpet for the bedroom and hallway needs to be replaced or removed. The bathroom towels need to be updated or someone needs to use more softener because the towels were very scratchy that I had to ask for a fresh towel and those were the same way. My suggestion, the towels need to be thrown away and repurchase with more comfortable feeling. The bed is lumpy and the side near the window the bed spring was pressing against the my leg. The outside was very uncomfortable since there were people standing around the gates. Additionally, the Parking fee is a bit much for the customer. I understand if the property owner doesn’t want outsiders then use the parking pass for the customer w/out a fee.

Place was walking distance to board walk. Our week long stay, our room never once got cleaned and we thought it was odd. We didn’t care that much about that though. We don’t have plans to visit that area again due to too many toll roads and pay parkings.

Very clean and spacious rooms! The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The shower pressure wasn’t too strong but still did the job. Walking distance from boardwalk and casinos.

I ordered food from best western and got part of my order and did not get my money back so I will never get food from them again

Real close to the beach, very clean, and staff were amazing. The location near the beach was nice but the area wasn’t. No complaints towards the hotel itself.

The beds was comfortable No protein for breakfast, location filled with homeless people, that far down the boardwalk/beach area is really dirty need to drive up near the flagship to swim in the decent park of the beach. Upon gathering my belongings and packing up the car my room key stopped working my wallet was still inside the room and the lady at the front desk wouldn't fix my key unless I showed her my ID kept trying to explain to her my ID was still in the room so I had to have the housekeeper let me in my room for the rest of my belongings!!

Specifically filtered smoking rooms, and when I got to the room it was non-smoking. When I asked to be accommodated, I was told there were none available. Room was clean, property is just older.
