Issues: Window AC too close to one of our king beds, making it uncomfortably cold for person sleeping next to it. Maybe an easier way to access from the street -- many steps to climb to entrance.

This hotel is a wonderful throwback in time. Such a great example of what it would have been like vacationing in AC decades ago. It has old charm with update bathrooms and showers with old themed hardware. No elevator. The room and the overall property was very clean everywhere. As staff was very good. So many antique pieces. Little noisy but it's AC and if your doing it right you won't notice LOL. Overall a great stay. A bonus is the Chelsea pub right next door, open late with food. Such a nice atmosphere and great staff.

The staff were all amazing and friendly, but I especially want to thank Lola. She made my check-in process smooth and took the time to explain all of the hotel's amenities. Her outstanding customer service truly made a difference. I also really enjoyed the complimentary daily breakfast and the restaurant/bar attached to the hotel was excellent and convenient for late night cocktail. The property also offers a secure parking area. My room was charming, clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a great night's rest. Overall, I had an amazing stay and would absolutely recommend Chelsea Inn to anyone visiting the area.

It may not be for everyone but we loved it, real place with real people. Old-school class and imperfections that made us feel comfortable - if you don't get that you won't ever understand the beauty in the world.

Very close to boardwalk and nice historical building. Bar can get rowdy late night

The location, the beautiful rooms, the historic theme of “rooms from the past” and the excellent daily breakfast.

It was really clean and I loved the old vibe. We were on the third floor, too many steps to get to our room. Getting into the building there were also a lot of steps. Next time I’ll request the first floor, my husband has kidney problems so carrying all of our luggage was a lot.

No pool

It was clean and quiet There wasn’t always someone working the desk during regular hours. Also we were told there was a restaurant available and my 18 yr old granddaughter and I went in and apparently the larger dining room was closed. We had to sit at a small high top table. Also she was not allowed to play pool due to their age rules. I chose the Inn partly for these options and was disappointed. Also for the pics online, I feel like we got the oldest room. I thought it would have been nicer for the price we paid.

The breakfast was better than expected. It's listed as continental, so I was expecting bagels, yogurt, and cereal. The awesome woman in the kitchen made scrambled eggs for us. Everything was great! Our room(we got 2, one for husband and me, one for our adult son) had a bi-fold louvered door on the bathroom. My husband chose to use the one in our son's room, as it provided more privacy. We would've switched with him, but I loved our room, especially the king bed!

This was such a cool hotel! I felt like we traveled back in time. The location was perfect and so was the breakfast. I’ll never stay anywhere else in AC.

I really enjoyed this property. What a gem to find in Atlantic City!

Great staff, Great stay. I fixed there Victrola for them. They were very pleased. Can't wait to book again next year. I might bring a surprise with us. The front stairs. But it's over a 100 years old. That's just how it is.

Great

Its location was convenient for my business in the city. The property seemed old, old furniture Vintage I’d say very clean though, comfortable. I didn’t get to experience breakfast or the restaurant there. It served its purpose. Didn’t like the 150.00 hold that they charged for the room which was very small and the return time it took for the hold to be lifted and returned to your account. It was ok

Not a big complaint, but a few of the facility elements were more or less lacking. Anytime we checked for ice, the main chest was empty, but thankfully the refrigerator provided was strong enough to hold what we had. The tub water ran brown, but we both assumed it was more of an issue of pipes/low use, as the shower worked fine.
