Right direction of conditioner in the room: away from the faces of sleeping people. So, the stay is pleasant.

Clean all good except there were renovations happening so no breakfast, we did not know this until we got there. Overall we always have good experiences with this line of hotels so better communication in this case would have helped.

We checked in late at night, and we were just there to sleep pretty much then head off to NY. The room was clean. It was easy to find. Would stay again if traveling through again.

On arrival, the corridors smelled very musty. The room had a very bad odor, smelling like cheese. The room is very basic. No decor, bare walls, sparse furnishings. The room was sold as "sleeps 5". This room had two double beds. The a/c smelled bad. On the second night when we returned to the room, there had been NO SERVICE. The room was not cleaned, beds not made, no fresh towels. The odor in the room was worse, so we shut down the a/c and opened a window. In the morning we woke early and packed to leave, just wanting to get out asap. We never saw any housekeeping services during our entire visit. We have stayed at other La Quinta hotels and have had much better service. Would definitely not return nor recommend.
