We love staying here once a year. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Rooms have high ceilings, comfortable beds and traditional furniture that fits the Victorian theme. There are in-room coffee makers and small snacks with a fridge. When you check out, don’t forget to open the front gate and then drop the keys in the mailbox through the fence once and only once you have first let yourself outside. The place is a little hard to find. The streets are slightly angled away from Gordon Highway, and you have to look for a small, thin white sign that points in the direction of the Fox’s Lair, the pub in the basement. It would be nice if the sign had a light to see it more easily at night.

Everything Nothing

Felt like home. Extremely cozy, relaxed and comfortable. Nothing.

Very comfortable and nicely furnished. Very accommodating staff. The Fox’s Lair is a great bonus.

All was great

It’s a cute historical type home but it’s in a part of town that’s being repaired quite noisy. It has a bar down in the basement that’s about 50 years old so that was interesting. I am afraid Augusta isn’t someplace we would go again it was just a stop over on our way back to Atlanta from Charleston,

No complaints.

Love the speakeasy with entertainment in the basement Long black hair in bathroom window ledge, decor needs updating

Melinda was very nice and a good host.

I loved everything about this place! It was convenient to restaurants and activities. The Inn keeper, Melinda, was lovely. The property is beautifully maintained and decorated. The complimentary off street parking was a plus. Despite it being an old home, we had all the creature comforts for our stay(coffee maker, microwave, fridge.)

This was a charming place that was easy for me to commute to my work. The host was very helpful and my pup was welcome. Truly no complaints. Very well done!
-
Very charming historical building. Room was on second floor and had very high ceilings. Bed was comfortable and room was large. The bar was so much fun. We were lucky enough to be there for open mic night. Great crowd and fun times. Walked to a restaurant for dinner. Augusta downtown was not really what we had hoped for. Work in progress so maybe in a few years Loved the hotel and the bar. Downtown Augusta is still a work in progress. We were hoping for a more lively downtown experience

Very responsive. Comfortable room. Very loud. Hotel is above a bar with live music until almost 1am. This was not advertised in the write up. Didnt get much sleep during masters week when we had to get up at 6am.

The property itself is beautiful. Wonderful location, within walking distance of the main street of Augusta. Poorly, poorly maintained, cluttered and basically not clean. From being asked to park at the end of the driveway with my car into the sidewalk because there was a trailer occupying the front, the overwhelming odor of animal urine on the front porch, the cramped, cluttered, patchwork decor, the hair in the shower soap dish and all wrapped up in a bow when the CEO/Owner told me that I had not paid which was not accurate. It was a requirement for booking the room during Masters' week and which could have been resolved with a call to her manager who handles her bookings. The whole experience was insulting for the $800 we paid for one night..

Very cozy bed and overall vibe! Travel sized body wash, shampoo and conditioner included in shower. No issues were experienced during my stay. I will say however, bring ear plugs even if you are staying on the 2nd story. You can still hear a bit of chatter and music from the bar in the basement.

This was such a neat place to stay. We just loved our room and how cozy it was. The atmosphere of the whole place was so chill and relaxing. Great time!
-
I wish they would of served breakfast. or had an easier arrangement for morning coffee
-
It was clean. The bed was comfortable. Ceiling fan squeaks. Closet was too full to hang clothes.
