Canopy by Hilton Austin Downtown

Overall, this is a great hotel. The location is excellent. I really liked the clean empty glass bottle in my room that can be refilled at the filtered water dispenser down the hallway. My coworkers loved this place. The only negative is the entrance door. It is a small entryway, and the doors do not open automatically. It is a bit tricky to navigate with baggage.

This was an unexpected location for a unique Hilton experience. I needed a safe hotel close to the UT game festivities and Hilton delivered with the Canopy Hotel. Room layout was unique. Nice separate sleeping vs. bathroom dressing areas. Valet was efficient. Breakfast in bed to watch game day was prepared to order. Recommended for business or leisure travel.

Clean, nice decor, free wine at arrival. It’s hard to get around the noise at night from the bars below. I was on the top floor and couldn’t sleep because the entire building was shaking from bass being played below. It’s a shame because the hotel is nice.

The property is in a great walkable area. I would suggest asking for a courtyard facing room to avoid excess noise at night from the bars nearby, which I did, and slept well. All in all I would stay here again.

The restaurant was too eclectic for us.

The hotel is very cute and in a great location. The person at the front desk when we checked out could have been more helpful- it felt like we were bothering her when asking about renting bikes….

$54 for parking!

The staff was super nice and kind. We needed a late checkout and they were only able to give us an hour, but still the room was super nice. I will say though $50 for parking is insane.

It's an interesting contemporary boutique hotel. It's fairly close to the very center of Austin. The valet parking was convenient. The staff was very pleasant. The party scene at the pool below was extremely loud.

Awesome room with huge indoor surrounded patio. Beautiful shower and great for solo traveling since the area is walkable to shops and cafés.

The hotel was clean, modern, and very well maintained. The staff was consistently friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our stay. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. One thing to note is that the beds sit fairly low to the ground, so keep that in mind if that’s important to you. The pool area was clean and well cared for, making it a nice place to relax, and the bar served excellent drinks. Overall, this is a great option if you’re looking for a comfortable, well-located hotel in downtown Austin. I’d definitely stay here again.
