Throw up on the parking lot door for 2 days

Choices were good. Our room faced the street and a large construction site which was active in the morning. Street noise was minimal. Breakfast is included but we didn’t eat. They also provide bottled water, coffee and tea. We swam in the pool was very nice on a 95 degree day. I thought the check-in staff was hurried and didn’t explain the property, such as where the parking is, elevators to rooms and so. Element gets the job done at this price point. Would I stay again? Probably not.

location ok- parking NOT FREE as stated air con very noisy

Room was incorrect on check in. Had to chamge rooms to one smaller and still pay the same. Then the second room had issues with the television. Not impressed for the area of town the property was located. Expected more.

All was good

The room was clean. Breakfast was pleasant. Air conditioning was flawless. Housekeeping was amazing. However, I was disappointed with the front desk staff including the manager. My stay was extended so I inquired about reserving my room an additional day. I was advised that due to going through a third party company they were not able to extend my reservation. I understand and inquired as to whether I could just purchase the room through their website and was told “no” as the room had been reserved for someone else. At that point I was given no other options and told they weren’t able to assist me. I followed up later that evening checking to see if they had ANY rooms available. Not until I offered the suggestion was I advised I could reserve another room which ended up being directly across the hallway on the same floor. I’m disappointed there was no initial attempt to try to accommodate my further stay. The hotel wasn’t sold out and didn’t appear to be busy. I was disappointed with the lack of customer care or assistance. It seemed like almost an inconvenience for them to even check for options or try to work with me. It came down to who was working and asked as to whether or not you would be helped. I travel to Austin often and enjoy my stays at Marriott’s. However, I was disappointed and I don’t believe I would stay at this location again.

Our room was clean. The TV did not work as well as we would have liked. It would turn off sporadically, the streaming feature did not work at all.

Lovely, clean, comfy room with friendly staff. Great location. LOVED the extra special coffee. The best hotel coffee we've ever seen. Loved the hot tea and fruit infused water on check-in.
