Heywood Hotel

Everything about our stay was outstanding. Perfect location, delightful and helpful staff. Beautifully appointed, with lots of extra amenities that we didn't expect. Impeccable attention to details, and we loved the pre-check-in information with helpful recommendations. Perfect in all ways. I wouldn't have changed a thing.

I didn’t like anything, I LOVED it all!!! Such an amazing stay. From the easy access to the parking and knowing there’s a spot available at all times, for you, to the warm and welcoming hospitality of the staff; each moment felt special. The room was so cozy and had everything we needed. My wife and I will definitely be staying here again! N/A

Parking was easy and great restaurants nearby. The property itself felt safe but I would drive in the neighborhood. Especially at night. We walked and wished we had driven. We're from Portland OR. So to say we didn't feel great says something. But with that change I would totally stay again. Staff was amazing and accommodating and the property was beautiful and very comfortable.

The staff at Heywood Hotel were very friendly! They gave us a ton of recommendations of stuff to do and where to eat. The Heywood is very conveniently located too.

The Heywood Hotel is located in close proximity to almost everything. There are so many wonderful restaurants nearby along East Cesar Chavez Street and East 6th Street. We also enjoyed shopping and eating on South Congress. The staff was very helpful to us. It was nice to be able to park and the walk to your room is a very short distance. We also took the Austin City Limits theatre tour which was very enjoyable. We chose the Heywood mainly for its close proximity of the Malin meeting complex.

The Heywood Hotel is a gem -- the property is beautiful and peaceful, the staff are so fun to chat with, and the personal touches left us with an experience that we will remember for a long time.

The place was lovely...beautiful decor, great parking, nice neighborhood with lots of restaurants and offerings. The bed, linens and pillows were awesome and the shower had nice KT products. We loved it and would book here again.

Phenomenal stay! The room was clean and cozy, with perks like complementary coffee and chocolates. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. We will definitely be returning and recommending this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in Austin.

The Heywood was impeccably decorated. Customer service was perfection. My room was clean, easy to get to, private, and had everything I needed. Plus, they had custom touches… my name on my snack basket, a note from the staff, a tiny chocolates. I can’t wait to return!

This is truly a "10" rating. The quality of everything is the absolute best, the decorations are beautiful, the staff is wonderful and totally accommodating, and the comfort level is tops. We loved it and wish we had stayed longer just to enjoy such a great place where the Owner truly cares about hospitality and quality. This was a little over our budget (we travel so much that we try to keep our room rates a little lower). But it just goes to prove the old adage that "You get what you pay for."

Nice decor and very clean. Well appointed rooms with customisable amenities. Location may not be perfect for everyone. It suited our needs.

The property was small and well kept. Very quaint- once we checked in, they took the time to add personal touches to the room for my daughter & myself. The bathtub was amazing & the room had its own private “balcony” or sitting area. The hotel & lobby are very cozy and welcoming. Rebecca, the assistant at check in was very warm & friendly. Parking wasn’t that great.
