Red Roof Inn PLUS+ Austin South – Airport.

There was a communication issue with the Booking app, but thanks to Amanda's prompt intervention, we were able to stay there and were not affected. The air conditioning control was not working in one of the rooms used.

The staff was super helpful and friendly, right from the start! The hotel is not the newest or fanciest, but everything was clean and well maintained in the room. Lights, remote, a/c, toilet, hot water all worked as it should. It would be a great upgrade to put USB charging ports in the light bases, in addition to the outlet ports. I really appreciate that the entire hotel is non-smoking! Would stay again!

For one, I called at 1 PM on the drive up there asking if I could check in earlier when I get there. They asked what time, I said 2 PM, they said sure! Well, I get there at 2 PM, and the room isn't ready. That's okay, I'll wait. I leave to the store and come back at 3. Room STILL isn't ready. So, I asked if they could call me when it's ready. I give my #. At this point, I have to start getting ready for my event in the car. Finally at 3:45 I'm like, what's going on?? So, I go in and it's a completely different receptionist.. I never got a call, and the room was ready who knows how long.. Then we get in the elevator to the room and the room looks 0% like the picture AT ALL. Not as spacious. Mind, you I got the "Upgraded King Suite" and it was raggedy and a big bubble thing in the ceiling over the AC unit. Then I'm hearing scurrying/scratching in the night, turns out the walls are paper thin and we deducted that I'm hearing a dog pacing around. Also, the bathroom, there is NO counter, just sink. So good luck ladies if you're trying to do your makeup. Had to do it in the dimly lit room in front of the full size mirror.

The bed and pillows were comfortable. There was some highway noise in the room from I35 just outside.

There's no continental breakfast, but they do provide coffee in the morning. IMO, coffee should be available throughout the day

An affordable rate in a good location! I work in Austin but live 2 hours south. I stay at this location during my work week. Sonny and his staff are hospitable and very accommodating. Monica at the front desk is wonderful! I recommend this hotel.

Good Hotel for the cost. Bathtub wasn't in the best condition, but completely usable and sanitary. Room was surprisingly spacious with a desk as well. I stayed overnight during my road trip for the late night check in, and I overall would be happy to stay again.

immediately found stains on the bedsheets and a cockroach. the room looked like it was cleaned maybe 3 months ago and hasn't been cleaned since. ready for guests, but not maintained very well. would recommend finding another place to stay if you're willing to spend a bit more

The bed mattress was old and worn out… the bathroom had black mold in the shower. The room was well worn and in need of a remodel. The carpets were worn out and the hallway carpets were dirty and worn as well the elevator needs a an update inside very worn & dirty…

This stay was horrible! They state on their signs that it is a 100% smoke-free hotel, but our neighbors were smoking all night and made our clothes stink! The beds are very small, and the rooms have little to no ventilation, especially in the restrooms. The rooms are also very outdated; there was scratched-off paint everywhere and tons of stains on the sheets. I would NOT stay here. The only plus about this was the microwave and fridge, but that was it. I checked out the next morning.
