really great area near bars and restaurants and close drives to shopping! staff was great and the apartment style was super convenient

This property is absolutely stunning. Great, walkable location- beautiful amenities including an amazing fitness center and spa. Off one start as it is advertised as a luxury stay- while the amenities are certainly high end this is an apartment style stay with little in terms of actual luxury support (I.e. bellman, late checkout, concierge, etc). Overall would recommend!

Cons - the service from the front desk wasn’t great. I requested both early check in and late check out, neither were offered - that’s fine, but they didn’t follow up with me to communicate at all. I arrived early and asked if early check in was possible. She took my number and told me she would call me when the room was ready. No call. I waited in the coffee shop and went back at normal check in time. One person told me to call at midnight for the late checkout. When I called at midnight that guy said to call at 7am. I called at 7:30am and they said they would follow up with me. They never called me back. At 9:30 I went back down to ask again. They offered amenities access after check out and said they would extend the access with the key card, but the card stopped working at 11:30. I had to follow up on that as well so that I could even get to my car. To be clear, I’m not upset at all about the lack of early check in or late check out availability, but actually communicating would have been nice. Also, not the hotel’s fault - but guests should be aware that Rainey st has a very loud night scene. You will hear the music and clubs late into the night.

Was a fun and central place to stay

The staff were also fantastic! Incredibly helpful, polite and accommodating throughout our stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Roost Rainey to anyone visiting Austin!

Everything about this place was beautiful, upscale, and luxurious. The location was perfect—close to everything downtown Austin has to offer, with stunning views to enjoy. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the amenities were top-notch. Overall, it was a beautiful experience, and I would definitely stay here again!

Highly recommend if you want to be in the action and have top notch amenities. There is a full gym with quality equipment, sauna, ice bath, red light therapy, every you need for your wellness routine. Everyone we met was very friendly and helpful, would go back in a heartbeat. This is on Rainey street, so as we had read before booking, it is right in the action of Austin so it's happening which means it is noisy at night with the music from the events. We were expecting it so it did not bother us. Everything else was simply perfect.

Loved the property but it would have been nice to get notified that the pool wasn’t open.

The space of the room and comfortable beds! The downside is the parking and too much noise!!

It is no uber stopping by the front door

Our room smelled like dog pee. The smell was dripping off the walls like someone used a cup of dog pee to clean the room. Complained to front desk and the response was to write a review…. Not offered to move rooms or a cleaning. Left the hotel a few hours ago and still have the smell of pee in my nostrils. Nice place but the smell is horrible. Terrible way to spend over $700. Being a dog owner myself know that’s just bad housekeeping. Don’t stay here… find somewhere else to spend your hard earned money.

Call lobby to find parking garage

Fantastic stay on Rainey Street! Staff were super friendly and helpful. Unit is fresh, has everything you need to cook or do laundry if needed. Can listen to the street's music from balcony and walk to fun bars or restaurants in any direction. Also, great pool, gym and super easy access to the lake trail. It can be loud at night if you are looking to sleep early (but better to be out anyways). The only possible negative is the blinds are not black out and the street light can make it in. Overall, fantastic stay and highly recommend!

The apartment was comfortable and located right in the middle of Rainey Street. The views were awesome.

Wow! What a great find! Two women in their 60s traveling to Austin for the first time to see the Congress St bridge bats:) No idea really where to stay but chose this place because of Rainey St and their reviews. It was perfect for us! We each had a studio room with a balcony. They even put us next to each other! The entire staff from check in, housekeeping, maintenance, coffee/wine bar staff, check out were all amazing!!!! Very safe, clean, fun, place to stay! Bonus was washer/dryer and full sized fridge with cold door water and ice so we could fill our water bottles each day as we headed out. We definitely recommend and would stay again for sure! It got a little noisy Thursday with the music on Rainey but they have sound machines in the room so I turned it on one night. But really it's such a great place don't let that stop you from staying!

Great spot on Rainey St. The room was very nice and had good amenities. The pool is very well done. Nice to have a coworking space within the building as well. Will definitely stay here again.
