Beautiful grounds! The swimming pool area was charming reminding me of an Italian villa. The pool was clean shaded and very refreshing on a hot day.

Loved the setup. Very whimsical at night on the porch or by the pool. What a cozy atmosphere. Breakfast was great and it was nice to meet other patrons. It’s a great property! The bathtub seemed to need some TLC but that could just be old water stains.

I had such a wonderful stay at Strickland Arms B&B. Mr and Mrs Strickland, as well as Sandy, are truly lovely hosts and made me feel so welcome from the moment I arrived, especially as a solo traveler. The house itself is absolutely beautiful and you can tell it has been decorated with so much care and love. Every detail feels thoughtful and special. The pool area, together with the water fountain, creates a peaceful little oasis that makes it very easy to relax and unwind. The room was spacious, comfortable, and perfectly kept. And breakfast in the dining room genuinely feels like stepping back into Victorian times, such a unique and charming experience. Overall, a 10 out of 10 stay and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Austin.

The hospitality and the conversation with the owners at the outdoor fireplace was wonderful.

Breakfast was good. Coffee station convenient. Location is great for morning walks. Bakery is close by as well as parks. I didn’t spend much time there but stay was good. Nice variety of breakfast items for either quick breakfast on the go or more leisurely one.

The hosts and property was amazing! The grounds were gorgeous. And I could live in the porch. The house is fairly hot and stuffy but they do have fans and AC inside the rooms. The breakfast was good but we didn’t want the same thing everyday, however it was great of them to provide other options like cereal/oats/berries/coffee/tea, aside from the bacon, eggs and biscuits. We really wished the hot tub had been open and the pool a little more cleaned out but still enjoyed the pool lightly.

A charming, walkable neighborhood that is pleasantly quiet. Both the owner and site manager were friendly and helpful. They offer a variety of breakfast options, but the cooked breakfast is truly outstanding!

My wife and I stayed at the Strickland Arms Estate with a group of close friends, and we absolutely loved our time there. The location is beautiful, peaceful, and full of charm. It is a very old home, and with that comes a little natural wear and tear—but honestly, that’s part of the experience and part of its character. We knew exactly what we were signing up for, and that historic feel is what made the stay so memorable. The staff on site were fantastic—friendly, accommodating, and made us feel right at home. And the breakfast each morning was nothing short of spectacular. Truly some of the best we’ve ever had at a B&B. There aren’t enough good things to say about Strickland Arms. We all had an amazing time and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommended! Everything met our expectations and there was nothing to be disappointed about
