Great place to stay, clean rooms and great breakfast!
-
The hotel area felt unsafe, the hotel is old and the TV was broken
-
Room had an old gross worn out carpet with stains everywhere. Mold stains all over in the bathroom scratches on the TV. Burn mark on the counter by the sink. And watch out, they will photocopy your CC and refuse to give it back. Now I have to report it as stolen. On top of that, an extra $100 deposit in case you break anything. The room was already in terrible shape.

PARKING WAS CLEAN BUT THE SHOWER WAS DIRTY. ALSO TOILETS WOULD NOT FLUSH PROPERLY THE PEOPLE ATENDING GUEST WERE VERY RUDE WITH COSTUMERS....I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL
-
Horrible stay—dirty, unsafe, and bugs in the room. Honestly, the only decent thing about this place was the bed and not that comfortable. Everything else was a disaster—the room smelled like cigarettes, I found bugs, and the bathroom was gross with a clogged drain and a stained tub. It was my first time in Bakersfield, and the neighborhood felt incredibly sketchy with so many homeless people loitering outside, making me feel completely unsafe. Definitely not worth the money, and I will never stay here again. Make sure to pick the right La quinta.

The receptionist lady mad and angry no good person.

Easy access Pool needs work, some general upgrades and deep clean
-
Great service. Needs better breakfast option tho
-
location was good dirty, bathroom shower floor was unsteady, like stepping on a plastic bubble full of water. then we saw black water shooting out onto the tile. every time we stepped, black water squrited out. nasty
-
The room and the staff were very accommodating
-
Pool was down and the door to the restroom would not shut properly.
-
The room itself was clean but the pillows were way too soft. Breakfast was good but they need to have bigger coffee cups, that wasn’t nearly enough. Parking was good, and the location is convenient.
-
Spaciousness It was dirty and old. Early in the morning there was so much loud noise from the cleaning staff passing by outside I could not sleep. Very very noisy area

Check in was ok even after attendant had me sit and wait for no reason I had reservations then gives me room 140 all the way in the back I’m disabled at the moment did not read the notes left plus when walking in to this room noticed dirty doors stained shower with dirt ring around it said ok not using that try to use tv don’t work so I call front desk for new room got another room 120 tv worked but even worse dirty room I so wanted to leave but I already had paid and I’m sure they don’t refund or Expedia wouldn’t also pretty sure I have pictures to prove dirty and bug infested rooms and they say they up graded fresh painted rooms I can imagine how they clean their pool glad that was not working working during my stay also

I have stayed in La Quinta Inn many times. But this La Quinta in Bakersfield was awful that a lot of mildew on the floor the bathtub that it was chipped. The faucet was unstable and they had a screwdriver holding the hinge of the door at the entrance of the door, where you parked your car, there was dirty trash unfortunately we will not ever stay in a La Quinta again this La Quinta needs to be checked on because it’s awful. We had to change the first hotel room because the bathtub water didn’t drain then they told us they were gonna put us in a deluxe room that didn’t happen. That second one was even worse. We were not a happy camper like I said before we have stayed at other La Quinta and we’re very happy. That’s why we decided to choose a La Quinta in, but never again. Not a thing!

Bad experience Nothing good
-
Location it’s ok Little dirty property
-
Would not take my shoes off. Bathroom needed a good de-molding and recaulk and perhapsreplace the broke, non existent towel rack
-
Nothing, I can't believe they are renting rooms in their condition. They could start by cleaning the rooms. Rooms are dirty, bathtub has black mold so we couldn't take a shower. Bathroom doors are rotted and have large holes on the bottom. Very disappointed. We could have paid less and gone to a Motel 6 would have been cleaner.

Nothing Black Mold in the showers and pool. The front office said it's not mold but it is.
