I liked the room and property but staff was very disrespectful & rude to me and my husband

Staff were actually helpful. The guests who complain about them are the ones who let in their 20 friends into the pool area or have balcony parties at 3 am. Hotel needs renovation but it’s clean enough and the breakfast was fine. Although the price was good, I will stay elsewhere bc the other “guests” interfere with a good nights sleep.

Staff was friendly, room clean, breakfast not very good. Pool needed some cleaning. Liked the courtyard.

It was a nice quiet place to relax.

Needs an update and is in an area that felt somewhat unsafe although there is a gated parking lot and we did not have anything happen.

The property is always well kept and I appreciate that they have water and coffee upon arrival, thank you. It is a small touch but truly makes me feel at home.

The layout of the property to find your room is a maze. There was only one ice machine on the whole property. I arrived at the breakfast buffet at 8:30 AM and the food selection was extremely minimal and does not compare at all to the breakfast buffet of La Fuentes in Yuma, Arizona.

The pool was so dirty, it looked like there was poop in the water. Disgusting. The food was ok, but served amount like for a kid. Orange juice wasn't good.dollar tree brand.No, iv'e seen better brand of juice at dollar tree stores.would Not recommend.

Staff were amazing and clean rooms. Pool needs set hours. Kids out there at 3am screaming.

For the prices it’s a great deal

Beds are always comfortable. Breakfast lounge was ok but definitely needs a scrub down as it smelled of urine outside the restaurant as well as inside. Breakfast was not on time which is a little irritating as we had somewhere to be early and had to rush to eat but other than that, staff in the front office were very nice and friendly. Not bad if it’s just a night or 2 to stay.

I've stayed at quite a few hotels & this is the place where you're left alone by staff to enjoy your stay by offering absolute privacy.(except the exterminator that just walked into our room without knocking while my wife was in the shower & still had the audacity to harass her by asking her if she any business being in the room). Oh yeah, for your room to be serviced you have to let the front desk know a day before said Gritselda who works at the front desk. Other than that it was still one of the best hotels in Bakersfield. Continental breakfast doesn't leave you with any other options to choose from but eggs,hash brown, & toast with orange juice or coffee. There's a couple staff members that discriminate due to how you dress. I was asked more than once if I had a room there. On the door at the entrance to the front desk is a sign that says service dogs welcomed. But again management harassed my wife for her service dog & even after I informed them that our dog "Kidd"(chihuahua)is my wife's service dog, management told me no dogs were allowed there whatsoever & either get rid of the dog or we'd have to leave. When it comes to mental disability, they're heartless.
