Was great bed was really comfortable

Clean rooms and bathrooms. The AC worked wonderfully restaurant and bar were closed. There were no ice machines or vending machines despite advertisement very friendly staff. They did not clean my room one of the days that I stayed there.

I would not recommend this Hotel at all. NO ELEVATORS BEWARE .

Front desk ladies were very nice. However the whole place just seemed kind of sketchy. The beds were clean and comfortable, but the room smelled like cleaner covering up mildew. Also the vents above closet by bathroom were covered in mold. Also, the glass for the peephole on our door was missing. You could see right into our room. There was some paper or something stuffed inside it but it didn’t cover the entire hole and could easily just be pushed out. Kind of creepy. I noticed missing peepholes on other doors around the hotel too.

This was my 2nd time staying in Sure Stay Hotel. The first time was an excellent rating for this type of hotel. Their breakfast was well served and complete. The service from hotel front desk, restaurant, room service and security is very good. They are all very professional, friendly and are excellent at their job. Safety is important here and the hotel manager is hands on with hotel service. These things that I have relayed still reflects Sure Stay Hotel till this time. It is lovely to stay here and economical.

Would stay again

In our room we found two big (2) roaches. Flushed them down the toilet. We went to eat out free breakfast at 8:55 and was told they were closed. Told the front desk person. She said they close for breakfast at 8:45 not 9:00. Thank God that Dennys was across the street. If the rooms were not paid for, we would have left at check_In...

I love the patio that comes with the room, its nice to sit out and enjoy the well maintained grounds. Staff is friendly and its a peaceful place to lay your head. My # 1 choice when staying in Bakersfield

Person in the front desk was very helpful when I checked in my stay was unpleasant as soon as I came into the room, I broke out in rashes do tooinsect bites. I was very tired when I arrived and fell asleep. Woke up to next morning covered in bites. I notified the front desk when I checked out.

Room decor was a little dated but everything was clean, staff were friendly and lots of amenities for the price. I liked that there was a gated parking area to decrease theft/vandalism as well. Overall a great value and I would stay there again when returning to the area.

Not so good: run down, not well lit. Stop and go hotel.

The place was so nice! We were passing through and needed an easy stay to be in. The breakfast was lovely and the rooms were clean and smelled good. The parking was easy and everyone was really nice. We were pleasantly surprised how nice and clean everything was! Highly recommend
