DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Bakersfield

I had an amazing stay. My only two complaints were one of the elevators only went up and not down, which was an inconvenience for me having two little kids and an injury to my foot. And unfortunately, the room I was in the TV would cut off every 20 minutes. They had someone come up and reset it, but that did not fix the problem.

Clean and convenient

The room was clean and comfortable , bathroom was clean and accommodating with amenities. Pool was awsome and the courtyard view was very nice ! Staff was amazing with great attitudes!

FIRE ALARM WAS TRIGGERED 5 TIMES AT MIDNIGHT WHILE SLEEPING. NO SMOKE DETECTES, TRIED CALLING FRONT DESK NO ONE ANSWERED. ALARM KEPT GOING OFF AND ON FOR ALMOST 30 MINUTES COULD NOT SLEEP. ALARM FINALYY TURNED OFF. COULD NOT CONTACT ANY ONE AT FRONT DESK FOR A PAIR OF TOWELS. THE NIGHT CREW IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR CALLS IN EVENING. OBSERVED A SMALL ROACH CRAWLING IN BATHROOM WHILE SHOWERING EARLY MORNING.TOOK CARE OF ISSUE.

The room was clean and the staff was friendly.

We stayed here on two separate occasions on the same trip, lovely clean room a good size, we reported the curtains not opening and closing properly the reception when we left the on the 1st stay, we were given the same room the 2nd stay a week later and the curtains were still not working properly, but different make much of a difference to the overall stay. We would recommend this hotel.

Breakfast burrito was awesome!

Staff was excellent and we were the only ones at the pool and it was very nice and quiet. Had fun at the bar for drinks and food. Quick 1 night stay.

Clan room and gave us warm cookies :) perfect parking free!

The room was clean. This is our 3rd year coming here as a stopover to another destination. Hilton never disappoints.

I have stayed here several yimes snd it is awlays vlean & the staff always friendly.

Where to start, the girl from front desk, was not customer service oriented, AT ALL, I know is hard now a days to find good customer service but she needs training. 2, when we were going to our room the hallways had an awful fishy smell (3rd floor) very strong, luckily the smell was not inside the room, I did call reception and they said they would let maintenance know, the smell did fade out and eventually went away, and last but not least, there was a roach in the bathroom, simply disgusting, the guy from check out was nice so that was good. Definitely won’t be coming here again, will try the one across the street.

Lovely room and excellent service! I had a great experience at this property. My room was very nice, spacious, and the bed was comfortable. On top of that, the staff was friendly and welcoming and the chocolate chip cookie at the check in is always a bonus. I’d gladly stay here again!
