Great remodel going on and yet the location was warm, welcoming , and clean.

Overnight in Bakersfield. Hotel was clean and convenient to our business the following day. Breakfast was very good for a free hotel breakfast buffet. Parking was free, too, unlike nearby hotels. Would definitely stay there again!
-
The staff was pleasant and helpful, but they shouldn't call it Springhill Suites. Just because there is a couch doesn't make it a suite. You can't even see the television screen when you are sitting on the couch because the couch is at a right angle to the television instead of facing the screen. The breakfast was terrible. Overcooked eggs, undercooked cinnamon rolls, stale english muffins, and weak coffee.

We stayed in room #128 and was bitten many times by bedbugs. I had an appointment with my doctor on Monday, 21 September 2026 and he said it looks like bedbugs bites. Would like a respond.

THIS REMODELED ROOM WAS JUST OKAY. KINDA STERILE. MICROWAVE DID NOT WORK AND NO DOOR ON BATHROOM AREA SO LIGHT GOES RIGHT TO BED. THE COUCH IS VERY DEEP SO UNCOMFORTABLE TO SIT BUT PROBABLY OK TO SLEEP. THEY SAID COFFEE WAS AVAILABLE 24 HOURS BUT ALWAYS COLD. IN A NICE SAFE AND QUIET AREA.
