This hotel maybe on the campus of John Hopkins however it is digusting. The sofa was torn in several places, my safety lock didn't work on my door, the room was mostly clean and my hair dryer did not work. We came with the best intentions but it started to go bad at the front desk when we were told the wrong room number of the handicapped accessible room, not informed about the different elevators or even directed to them and the man at the front desk didn't give us the requested information regarding shuttle to John Hopkins and hotel amenities. The bright spots were the valet Derrick and the waitress in the restaurant upstairs.

We were turned away from another hotel chain due to global outage. They were able to accommodate us and our dog.

Everything was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The staff was excellent.

Staff was nice, hotel overall seemed clean with the exception of the nail clippings left next to our bed in the corner of the room showed us maybe not everything is cleaned every time the room is cleaned for the next guest. Breakfast was very slim picking and almost all of the prepackaged foods (yogurt, milk, etc) were a day from their expiration date. The hotel restaurant was ok, sky deck was less than glamorous due to lack of tv use and cushions for the furniture. They also charged a party of 4 a "service" fee of 18%. Valet was very nice and pleasant. Hotel not in the best area. I kind of wished we stayed in inner harbor due to location but this wasn't the worst.

I love this hotel, the rooms are awesome, the staff is friendly, and it's in a convenient and safe location.

Shower was open door which lead to more water on the bathroom floor.

  • Engine customer Jul 2026

The hotel had all the amenities and service we could ask for during our stay. Thank you!

Parking is pretty ridiculous, $50/ night valet or find your own way off site with a parking garage. As far as the check in, check out and room itself, it is a great place to stay. Staff was very polite and helpful, the lobby is very nice and the breakfast is great. The food and view from the roof top restaurant was incredible.

I enjoyed my stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was clean. Also the complementary breakfast was good.

Staff extremely pleasant and professional! Neighborhood was sketchy but I had no issues. I would stay again.

On the upside the staff was very accommodating. The valet was super fast. The breakfast was nice although as a diabetic my sections were extremely limited. That's food for thought!

We arrived on a Saturday night. We used this as an advantage to park on the street overnight. This was an easy walk to the hotel. Check-in was quick. Our suite was small but very efficient. Speaking of efficient, I would use the term to describe the gym. You will find a small gym that supplies you with what you need to get in a quick workout. Fresh towels were on all machines when I arrived at 6:50 am. There are also bottles of water. We did not have the Continental breakfast. We forgot and were jealous when we saw people with fresh waffles. Do not forget your breakfast!!!

This was my first stay at the Residence Inn near Johns Hopkins, where I had a medical appointment. The immediate area around the hotel is very safe. My room was clean, spacious, and quite comfortable. The complementary breakfast next morning was better than most buffet-style hotel breakfasts that I have had. The staff was friendly and helpful and called a cab for me when I was leaving to go to the train station. There were a couple of really good nearby restaurants that a guest can walk to (I ate lunch at one of them on my final day) as well as a small little cafe where I grabbed a sandwich for lunch the day I arrived. On the night I arrived, I had dinner at the hotel's rooftop restaurant. The food was outstanding and the prices were quite reasonable. Of course, Johns Hopkins is only a couple of blocks away -- easy walking distance. I plan to stay here again on my next trip to Baltimore.

They don't offer everyday room service unless requested, and the shower is having problem even they sent someone to fix it.

Great location for John’s Hopkins. Lovely stay. Friendly staff.

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

The facility needs some updating, but is very clean and presentable. Valet parking is well run, but the cost is somewhat steep ($50/night). Staff is very helpfuland pleasant.
