Rooms are dated and need to be refreshed. Old furniture and bathrooms need updated. Breakfast and staff are wonderful. Overall it's a nice place to stay, but old looking.

great place, great price

We are frequent visitors to Bangor Inn & Suites and it is always consistent. The rooms are clean and comfortable and our area was so quiet. The refrigerator and AC in the room worked well. Breakfast is terrific with lots of hot and cold options. We had a lovely conversation with the breakfast lady; she is very friendly. The desk staff was great as well. Check in/check out was quick and seamless.

Nice place to stay - staff very friendly. Place is a little outdated but very well kept. Breakfast was good but wished there were more hot selections. Overall a nice place to rest your heads. I would recommend as well as stay there again!

All the people working there were exceptionally nice. Accommodations were clean, this is an "old school" motel/hotel so don't expect the Ritz but extremely clean with an excellent breakfast.

Bed was uncomfortable, didnt sleep well. Not much else mattered.

I do not understand how this place gets high reviews. It is so outdated and dingy. I don’t think any updates have been made for the last 25 years. Everything is so cheap and worn. I would have walked back out if we hadn’t already paid. How on earth are they charging $175 for a tiny ancient room? Unreal.

Could use an upgrade on the bathroom

Clean room but very old , staff was very nice, breakfast was good

We stayed here for one night to go to a concert. The property itself hasn’t been updated in what seems like decades. The rooms were very dated but clean. Staff was very nice. If you are staying here one night it’s fine. Not much better than a motor inn.

Hotel was dated, but clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and the breakfast had a variety of food available.

We stayed one night on the way to and from Halifax from Boston at the Bangor Inn. It was clean and comfortable with a good full breakfast. The hotel is dated but well run. Bangor is definitely not “all that.” Kinda run down but sadly Ellsworth was worse. I probably won’t come this far north again as we are aging but glad I made the trip.

Older hotel but very clean and staff was very nice. Breakfast was very delicious too

This was a last min stay. It was late when we got there. Staff seemed bothered when I checked in.
-
Generous breakfast hours with lots of eggs. Also liked the physical keys!
-
The staff was very helpful. The room was quiet and I enjoyed the breakfast.

Cons: this hotel is in need of MAJOR updating. My room looked as though it was straight out of 1970 - tired bathroom, fixtures worn and rusty. A push button phone with an option to receive collect calls - what?? Hallways are dark and dingy. Renovation is way overdue!!

Room was clean but extremely dated. Close to some nice restaurants for dining. Liquor store nearby.
