Bar Harbor Manor

- Excellent location. Walking distance to downtown Bar Harbor restaurants and within a few minutes of the national park. It's in a very walkable area that feels lively. - Amazing service. The hotel staff were amazing. We asked for advice on dining and activities several times - everyone we spoke with was wonderful. Great advice and a wonderfully positive attitude. - Free grab and go breakfast - They have coffee, orange juice, blueberry muffins (my son was a huge fan), oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, etc. It's not a hot breakfast and there's no dining area, but it's more than enough to get you going in the morning. There's also ice and a filtered water dispenser (to fill up your water bottles). - Renovated rooms - Our room was in the newer building, which had an elevator and was recently renovated. We also had a balcony, which was nice. Not a luxurious room, but very comfortable with more than adequate space for 2 guests (we had a king sized bed). Also, the bathroom door was hard to close. I think there are different buildings in various states of renovation. - Free parking Note that this hotel has a small reception area with a few chairs, but aside from that there are limited common areas. But you're not going to Acadia National Park to hang out in a hotel lobby, are you? I'd go back here given the chance!

Room was great with a small porch to sit on at night and a short walk to everything in in town. Staff had lots of excellent suggestions on dinning.

Christopher was the best- excellent hiking and dining recommendations. Easy parking at the hotel and then we walked to shops and eating. Easy drive to Acadia which was amazing. Decent room, nothing fancy which was fine.

Fabulous property. All the staff was very professional. Room was very comfortable and clean. The outside deck was great. The all day coffee and lemonade was great as we're the brownies and fresh fruit. Continental breakfast in the morning was good. Front staff gave away July 4 swag for the Bar Harbor parade. This is where I'm staying on my next visit to Bar Harbor.

Loved our recent stay at the Bar Harbor Manor. The room was clean, nicely decorated and a very comfortable bed. The Manor grounds were well maintained with the most beautiful gardens surrounding each building. The location was great with many stores and restaurants within walking distance. At the front desk, Christopher was extremely helpful in getting us set up with nice room for our stay and also very knowledgeable of navigating Acadia national park and offered ideas of area attractions and good restaurants for dinner. The grab and go breakfast was perfect. All the staff on site were courteous. I hope to visit again. I would recommend a stay at the Bar Harbor Manor.

The staff at Bar Harbor Manor, particularly Christopher and Constance, were delightful. Constance greeted us in a very friendly, upbeat manner upon checking in. She was very helpful with trail suggestions, and extremely knowledgeable about the area. Christopher was a very big help with restaurant suggestions, going out of his way to look up current information, as well as providing great tips on food, ordering, etc. He was very pleasant just to have a conversation with on about any topic, and presented with a good sense of humor. Christopher even provided us with grab-n-go food items for the morning, since we planned to head out early before such items were available at 7:30 in the morning. There was always fruit and delicious cookie bars available in the lobby. Parking was easily accessible. We could walk downtown which was a short distance from the manor. Our room, the bathroom, and all the facilities in general were very clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend to anyone to stay at Bar Harbor Manor. Not one complaint!!

Loved the property! Quiet area with perfect walking distance away from the shops/restaurants. Front staf (Christopher & Rachel) were so nice and helpful! Definitely ask them for ideas for things to do in the area and they'll get you where you need to go!

Been a very nice place to stay!

Nice staff and clean room. Bed wasn’t the most comfortable and the bushes were over grown which made our assigned parking spot kind of annoying especially when it rained. Other than that had a good stay and the room was cute

The hotel was very clean, very close to the Acadia National Park entrance. We had a late check in but the staff was really kind to put in all the instructions to make it really easy to check in. T

Good location. Clean and safe room. Quiet. Easy on-site parking. Nice "grab and go" break fast items. But overall, seems expensive for what we got.

We loved the Bar Harbor Manor! Excellent location. Easy walk to town. The room was spacious with a little balcony. Nicely appointed. The staff was fabulous! Christopher, Nicola and Rachel were so helpful and so much fun to visit with. Christopher was a hoot and a half. He really welcomed us and made us feel at home in Bar Harbor. All the staff was very knowledgeable about the area. The fresh brownies in the Lobby in the evening were so yummy! Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you to the wonderful folks at Bar Harbor manor!

Nice play to stay within walking distance of restaurants and waterfront. Quiet atmosphere and very helpful staff. Great place for our group of 8.
