Staff was helpful and friendly!

First let me say I take full responsibility for the booking. That being said, I was so disappointed with our accommodations. We were not booked in the main property, we were across the street in a rehab. My husband and I are in our 70s in pretty good shape, but the stairs to our accommodation were steep and the treads were narrow. So we had to carry our luggage up the stairs to the apartment. The first thing I noticed was how dirty the stairs were and the landing at the top. The second thing I noticed was the furniture in the bedroom didn’t match the pictures. False advertising. The bedroom didn’t look the same at all. And the fan was filthy. The bathroom was small and worn. The toilet was in the middle of the room and the sink had nowhere to put anything. The sitting area was fine. The only problem with that was the television only received local channels. No smart TV in the sitting room or the bedroom. For the price we paid you would’ve thought they could afforded one smart television. They furnished coffee, fruit, juice, and pastries in the morning. That got them one more star I cannot in good conscience give this a decent rating because they just might book some old people up there again. What a shame.

Lovely little property close to downtown! The grab & go breakfast & the night brownies were also a nice added bonus! Would recommend to other & would definitely stay again.

The property was as described in ad. Staff greeted us wonderfully upon arrival and treated us well! Room (King Room) was very well taken care of, very clean! Parking was great for a busy season and all downtown shops, restaurants, and touring adventures were within walking distance! Will definitely consider for future stays in Bar Harbor!

We enjoyed our stay here. Staff was very helpful, coffee and a grab and go breakfast made mornings simple. Wonderful brownies in the afternoon. It was so easy to walk where we we wanted to go.

Rachel and Christopher were just a delight and so very helpful at the front desk! The hotel was very convenient to walk around Bar Harbor as well as visiting Acadia National Park. They offer some grab and go items for breakfast like oatmeal, yogurt, and granola bars which was perfect for us to get an early start on the trails! We would definitely recommend this hotel to our family and friends!

The staff was amazing! Christopher took the time to provide maps and dining recommendations. Beautiful location, so convenient to Acadia National Park. We had the best time. I'd recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. Delicious blueberry muffins and coffee in the morning and lemonade during the day. We loved everything about our stay.

Front desk staff went above and beyond to help with local questions and suggestions. Breakfast, lemonade and snacks were available but not until 730 so early risers hitting the trails will need to find other options. Room was spacious and very walkable to Bar Harbor.

I liked being within walking distance to town , and a 10 minute drive to Acadia National Park. Staff was especially helpful in regard to any questions about getting around town and restaurants.

Very nice property.

The front staff were very helpful in suggesting where to eat and let us use some warmer jackets they keep for guests for our Whale Watch excursion. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. There is a gas station and grocery store right by the Inn. There’s also a good breakfast spot, pizza place, and Atlantic Brewery close. To walk to the other end of the village only takes about 10 minutes from the Inn. The grab and go breakfast was sufficient; they have a bottle filler in the lobby area which was convenient. Christopher and Rachael attending to the front desk were wonderful.

Room was on 3rd floor. Steep stairs. Weird configuration in bathroom. Felt less cozy than I wanted. Felt like servant quarters.

We loved the parking and balcony off our room! We loved the owner at the front desk! He was great and always eager to help! Very pleasant feeling to the place! We are impressed!

Christopher was amazing! He knows the area and property well. He was extremely helpful and made great recommendations.

Well kept property and accessible

Excellent hotel in a great location. Staff was exceptional , in every way. They helped plan our outings and gave directions. Loved the breakfast offered daily, and the delicious afternoon snack of blondes or brownies. Special thanks to Christopher.

They were always available, happy and helpful - with recommendations, practical advice, thoughtful suggestions - even the loan of kit for the beach! Nothing was too much trouble.
