This place has a great location to town and wonderful parking. Very nice staff.

Clean room, great location in walking distance to all of bar harbor attractions. Good place for travelers on a budget and wanting a conveniently located area.

Our stay was just right. The Anchorage Motel isn’t fancy and that’s ok. We were looking for reasonably priced accommodations within walking distance to the Bar Harbor shops and attractions. Hot coffee was available each morning and even at 3:45am when we headed to Cadillac mountain for sunrise. The motel was clean, safe and provided the basics. We didn’t intend on spending time in our room other than sleeping. The bed was comfortable and the shower amenities were enough. We would stay again.

Great location to town. It was great to have parking at the beginning of the busy summer season. Coffee was always available, which was nice. Easy walk to town, and easy to get out to the park!

Loved the location

This property is ideally located just a short walk to downtown and an easy drive to all that Acadia National Park has to offer. The room is simple but clean-windows at the back of the room and bathroom open for fresh air! Coffee, tea and water filler in the lobby are very convenient.

Nice, decently clean room. It is located close to all of the shops in Bar Harbor making location its biggest selling point. Perfect if you don’t plan on spending much time in the room and more time exploring Bar Harbors beauty.

The room was clean, property is kept up nicely. The front desk lady in the afternoon after around 3-4pm is not friendly, seems bothered. There was another lady who came from the back office who was very friendly and wanted to help us with town info. It was a decent enough place to sleep since we were hardly in the room anyway.

Free parking Location Rooms can be noisy, not so much soundproofing

There’s no view other than trees and other b buildings.

Check-in and out were simple, the room was basic and very clean, the coffee was fantastic and sitting in the sunshine in their little lawn was wonderful. The staff were so incredibly friendly they really made the stay really enjoyable. We walked everywhere, once we parked the car we only drove to other parts of Maine, no need for a car to explore Bar Harbor from their location. We loved our stay.
