Sweet little gem tucked in a calm street with trees and yard space to make you feel nestled but still easy walking distance from all the stores and restaurants. Stayed in the Echo Lake suite and it was perfect for me and my 2 daughters. Safe, clean. Terrific breakfasts and innkeeper is super kind. Would highly recommend.

Breakfast was great
-
The morning breakfast was very nice with two hot options each day as well as home-baked banana or pumpkin bread, which were absolutely delicious. The Inn manager, Cheryl, is very kind, helpful and delightful!

The in-house made breakfast as many other comments mentioned is indeed a feature of the hotel and a must-try. The location of the hotel is about 5-10 min walk from the downtown Bar Harbor. Parking in Bar Harbor is a nightmare, so if you plan to spend some time exploring downtown Bar Harbor, this is the right place to stay.

Location and Cheryl’s help Nothing

The rooms and breakfast out in the sunroom were nice. The TV was hard to figure out, but that was not why was there

The breakfast was exceptional. So delicious and lovely. The innkeeper was so amazing, I felt like I was visiting a distant family member's home.

What a WONDERFUL stay at this historic inn. Cheryl (I am sorry if I misspelled your name!) was an AMAZING host-the breakfast was amazing-the conversations were wonderful and it was truly a great experience. Cannot recommend enough

Location is perfect because you are in walking distance of Bar Harbor, yet you are away from all the crowds. Also, the entry to Acadia park is very close. The breakfasts served are phenomenal and the host is very accommodating and knowledgeable about the area! Nothing!!!

breakfast. Also, there is a big porch with several armchairs, where we sat in the evening having a tea. Our room was very clean. Even so the room is not big, but it was very comfortable. The only thing we didn't like that we stood just 3 nights and not more :-)

Cheryl was an amazing host and the other employees were all lovely as well. Breakfast was always delicious with so much attention to detail. Truly could not say anything bad about our stay here

Excellent breakfast!

Super friendly and helpful staff, exceptional and large rooms, great location, in close proximity to all the places you might want to see in Bar Harbor, amazing breakfast served every morning, and as much tea and coffee you might want at any time of day.

This place is an absolute stunner. On every level. Cheryl is a helpful, knowledgeable, welcoming host. The room was clean and soooo comfortable. Convenient to walk close by to whatever you need and want to see and do. And let's talk about the breakfast. Not only does it set you for the day, body, mind and spirit. Ridiculously delicious!! Shooting to return next year.

The nightly rate was very reasonable compared for the area.

She went behind teh expectations and helped with tips of places to go and even took me to the place I had to be because I couldn't find a Uber/taxi. I can't thank her enough. I liked everything.
