The Pathmaker Hotel

Beautiful property with large rooms and very clean. The bar area was great and the female bartended on duty was attentive and very nice. This was our last night in Portland but we’d definitely consider staying here again.

Fantastic location, with everything in Bar Harbor easily accessible. The on-site parking was a real bonus, and we loved being able to relax in the bar in the evenings after a day exploring. These were definitely the highlights of our stay Unfortunately, we felt the rooms were not particularly well thought out in terms of layout and design, and they didn’t quite live up to the level of luxury we expected given the price we paid. We were also disappointed to see noticeable stains on the carpet, particularly as the hotel is only around two years old. Overall, we expected a little more in terms of finish and attention to detail for a relatively new hotel at this price point

I like the room very clean, the staff just ok, breakfast not really great, the server don’t really speak well, the food I asked did not give me the right, parking is good we had spot, one thing I don’t like is the noise of cars running, car alarm go on and on. You can hear all the noise outside being in the heart of the city bust streets.

The room was well maintained and clean. The complementary served breakfast was excellent. Our only complaint was the underground parking at the hotel was full. We had to park in an outdoor lot across the street from the hotel. There was no charge and this was the overflow lot for the hotel. It was a short distance just across the street to the main entry. When we were there, it wasn’t a problem, but if it was bad weather, it would be an issue.

Hotel was clean and quaint and seemed recently renovated. We arrived very late in the evening, so there was no desk staff available, but they left us our hotel key in an envelope on the front desk with detailed hotel information. Parking in the underneath garage is limited, but they had an open overflow parking lot directly across the street. We only stayed for a night, but it was cozy, clean and overall a nice stay. Would stay here again.

We loved our stay! Walking into the building felt upscale, but also friendly at the same time. Each staff person encountered was kind and helpful. Our room was beautiful and clean with the most comfortable bed. My only regret is that we were too busy during our stay to take advantage of the on-site restaurant and bar (hopefully next time!). Parking and hotel location are very convenient. We would absolutely stay here again.

10/10 would recommend. On site parking and overflow parking, entire staff was incredibly nice, walkable to everything and they offer a free shuttle to Acadia.

Parking was free and easy to access. Breakfast was amazing and also included in the price which was a plus. The room was huge, comfortable and clean. Hotel is within easy walking distance of shopping and restaurants, with a grocery store just across the street as well. Loved Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park and would definitely recommend this hotel!

Nice hotel, just a short walk from the downtown area of Bar Harbor. Room was clean, staff was helpful, no issues parking in the provided lots.

Great place

This was a great hotel .. the front desk staff Camilla and Jen so helpful and those homemade cookies .. yummy .. the breakfast was a treat each morning, the coffee delicious and James at the bar was very nice . The hotel is close to everything and is a cute boutique hotel .. the bath salts and soaps were special too.. We would stay here again and recommend to all . Our room was very clean also

We had a lovely stay. The room was spacious and clean. Having free parking was key. The breakfast was delicious. It was a quick walk to the Main St shops/ restaurants and the Island Explorer shuttle to Acadia park.

We loved our stay at the pathmaker’s hotel. It was a very welcoming place and all the staff were very kind. Our room was wonderful, and the location was perfect to park our car and walk to all of the local restaurants and bars. We would highly recommend for anyone to stay at Pathmaker.

Room was first floor. Loud noises from parking. You could hear through wall. When I checked in the room smelled heavy of freshener used when cleaning
