Very friendly and attentive staff, very well located for walking into BH and accessing the Park. Because of the age of the building, noise transfers easily between the rooms and hallways - recommend to bring earplugs if you re a light sleeper!

Great place. Great staff.our room was facing the Main Street so it was loud in the morning as the windows were not the thickest. The breakfast was amazing.

The King Premium room was wonderful. Clean and spacious. Great to have two options for parking so close to downtown. Quiet and quick breakfast.

Very spacious rooms and nicely decorated. Loved the complimentary breakfast and the 24 hour coffee station. Easy walking distance from shops and restaurants but far enough away to be quiet.

The breakfast options were all fabulous and the innkeeper informed us of live music at a sister property which was the perfect start to our evenings!

We stayed at Pathmaker for 4 nights and had a great time in bar harbor. This hotel is new and very clean. Cleaning service did a wonderful job. Front desk staff is pleasant and helpful. Free breakfast is of the best quality that I have seen in a hotel so far. Overall I would highly recommend this place to families.

The hotel is located right in Bar Harbor, just a very short walk to the town center. Since most hotels in Maine tend to be quite old, this property was a wonderful surprise—it’s relatively new, and the rooms are both spacious and clean. They also provide complimentary breakfast, which was actually quite good. Highly recommended!

Our stay at the Pathmaker was perfection! The property is beautiful and centrally located. A quick walk to the downtown area and a 3 min drive to Acadia. The breakfast that was included each morning was delicious (especially the muffins)! There was coffee available in the lobby 24/7 and delicious cookies available in the afternoons! The staff was both friendly and helpful! If you are traveling to Bar Harbor, you won’t find a more welcoming place to stay

Great location, nice staff - excellent complementary breakfast.

First of all, Laura at the front desk was an absolute gem!!! When we checked in, she made sure we parked in the appropriate spot so we didn't get a citation. There is a lot of city parking for travelers all over the town and next to the hotel. That was a big help. She also had housekeeping dry my clothes as my suitcase got rained on at the airport. What a lovely gesture. The breakfast each morning was so tasty and great coffee. The set menu had a variety of items sure to satisfy anyone. You were also given a muffin to start that was moist and delicious! The hallways and our room always smelled fresh. We opted out of housekeeping during our stay, but even still the room remained fresh smelling. We really loved the location and all the amenities and would definitely stay there again. This is a small property, which we loved.

2nd time here so we like it. You can beat the location. We used to stay at the resort on wwst St but got tired of the noise and children running up and down the hallways. The hotel is super clean and the beds are super comfy. They serve a lovely complimentary breakfast. Dinner is comfort food standards but having the restaurant in house is convenient. Dinner is ok but do is most of the dining in Bar Harbor.

One con was they missed servicing our room one day even though we had the tag outside our door.

The breakfasts that were included with your stay were absolutely delicious! The portions were substantial and presentation was beautiful. Parking was a pain, and getting our stuff from the car to our room inconvenient.,,but really unavoidable. There isn’t much they could do, other than have staff assist with getting the carts from the basement and bringing luggage to our room. Fortunately we are able bodied, but it would be difficult for done.

Coffee and tee at any time. Breakfast was delicious and the friendliness at the restaurant. (Bed comfortable and clean) o I like it all, no complaints. Oh the air conditioner power bottom was not working, however it can be disconnected.
