Fresh made breakfast every day was amazing and delicious. Nothing not to like.

The location was perfect. Parking is expensive but we were able to walk from our location. The breakfast was wonderful. Loved everything about this place.

The location is wonderful and is close by to downtown Bar Harbor so you are a short walk from all the action and anything that you could want to do is accessible.

Location was great - within walking distance to downtown Bar Harbor. Breakfasts were delicious and different every day. Martha provided us with recommendations and information when asked. The place was very clean.

What's not to like?! My husband and I booked here because I read other reviews saying this was a great, convenient place to stay close to everything in town! So glad we chose to stay here because it truly was all that and MORE! Our host, Martha was a delight. ? Very personable, knowledgeable of the area and she sure can turn out a delicious breakfast! ? Canterbury Suites B&B is the perfect place for a little R&R. Great amenities, beautifully decorated, comfortable, spacious rooms and so welcoming. It wasn't hard at all to make ourselves at home. If we ever make a return visit to Bar Harnor, we will most certainly rebook here! Honestly, I can't think of any negatives! We were very happy and satisfied with our stay!

Martha and Tim made our stay great, the breakfast was gourmet style and different every day! Easy walking distance to Bar Harbor shops and restaurants. Definitely would recommend Canterbury for a relaxing adventure.

It was warm and inviting. We were greeted by Echo & Hammy the 2 resident dogs. The rooms were incredible! They were large and spacious. The bathroom was massive! Breakfast was absolutely delicious! The location makes downtown very walkable. The host was helpful and informative. We highly recommend Canterbury Suites B& B.

adding this on 10/11/25: we really enjoy good coffee and we expected better than average coffee at an upscale B&B , but it was weak and not very complex. we had to go in town to get better coffee.

Two year old property with modern feel.

I liked the private entrance. The suite was very clean and well stocked with towels. It felt very safe.

Both the bedroom and bathroom were massive (way bigger than expected) and spotlessly clean. The breakfasts were delicious. A little more flexibility in breakfast options and time served (8am) would have been nice, but not a dealbreaker.

The property was located perfectly in town. The gourmet breakfasts were delicious. The room and private bathroom were so spacious and clean. The hosts were ready with recommendations and information when asked. A great stay!

The location was so perfect, right in the heart of Bar Harbor. We walked to everything in town and easy access to the main square to catch the park bus. The breakfast was SUPERB! And best of all, Canterbury Suites was very dog friendly.

We were served a fantastic breakfast of poached peaches, pancakes with blueberries, and bacon. We wish we could have stayed longer! Such a lovely spot!

The homemade breakfast was an added bonus!
