Superb service, nice breakfast, and a convenient location to downtown and the Acadia National park. A nice small hotel but quite expensive.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The location was great, beautifully kept. Our room was clean, quiet, and spacious. I would recommend Bass Cottage to family and friends.

The hotel was walking distance to several restaurants and bars. Plus, very close to the marina to schedule tours. The morning bed & breakfast was great.

It was very comfortable and quiet. A less than 2 minute walk to all the shops and restaurants. Beautiful patio to sit out and enjoy the view of the water and boats. Friendly and helpful staff.

Excellent location, park and walk all over. Beautiful building (Bass Cottage). Inn Keeper and staff were excellent. Would've liked to have paid a bit less.

Location. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Bed was so really high! Would have preferred that the sink be in the bathroom, not the bedroom.

This place has it all. The Inn is charming. The gourmet breakfast was a delight. The location by the water, shops and restaurants couldn't be better. The staff were so attentive and friendly to everyone. I felt pampered and spoiled and would highly recommend this place to everyone.

The property was stunning: decorated with a cozy English charm with all necessities provided. It was located within walking distance to lovely restaurants, ocean views and great hiking but still tucked away so as not in the tourist noise. Heavenly. There was nothing that we didn’t like.

Very friendly staff. Great location, walk right into town. Comfortable bed. Really nice lounging areas with fireplace. Included breakfast and afternoon treats. Not much not to like. Food was good, not great.

We LOVED staying at this charming bed/breakfast in Bar Harbor!! It was so close to everything, and the staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. The breakfast (included) was fantastic, and they always had homemade scones/cookies/biscuits ready for the taking. Our room was very quaint and well-appointed. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for having us...we'll be back!!!!

The staff there was great. The room I stayed in was perfect. Great view of the water with private balcony. Quiet. Close to everything. Free breakfast was great and the afternoon tea was perfect.

Love the decore and history! Staff was also super friendly and helpful! Our room was on the top floor and had a skylight right by the bed. The shade to cover it was white. We were blinded by daylight around 4:30am and were unable to go back to sleep. I would recommend changing the shade to a darker color to block out the early morning light!
