Comfort Inn Barboursville near Huntington Mall area

Car broke down, tried to cancel. Would not let us, had to pay without being there.

Was okay for a one night stay. We only used one bed in our queen room as we were not sure about clean bedding on other bed. Bathroom and carpets were dirty. Upon check-in in the later evening the front desk was not friendly at all. Seemed like we were an interruption. Front desk in morning was a bit more friendly but not much. Elevator was pretty dirty. This hotel could really use a makeover.

Staff was very helpful but hallways and elevator need better cleaning. Mattress on fold out couch was heavily stained. Mattress pad was stained, we had to ask for clean one.

The workers were extremely nice and actually helped with my accommodations. I'm disabled and hadn't booked a room with accessibility and they fixed it for me.

The bathroom sink didn't drain. I called staff 3 times they never responded. The room had spiders crawling and out of the smoke detector. And I killed 6 roaches in the room. The staff was.never to be found and wouldn't answer the phone at the desk.

We showed up to the hotel for check in and they were running behind. They said it’d be a couple of more hours before we could check in. We spent the evening with family and came back to our room. Our non smoking room smelled strongly of cigarettes. We slept with the window all night to help with the smell. The front desk said there was nothing they could do. Beds were messy, lamp shade busted, everything looked old. We were hoping all of our clothes would not smell like smoke. We checked out early and switched hotels that next morning.

It was a convenient location. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean. However, they were very short staffed and so they were not the friendliest while doing multiple jobs. The furniture appeared to be old and worn. Breakfast was okay but every item was not available because it was being prepared. Again, one person doing multiple jobs. It was okay for a one night stop but overpriced.

Covenant because of the mall and restaurants.

Very friendly staff. Check in was a breeze.

Trash is not empty on the daily and you have to reuse towels

I was a little concerned with what looked like black mold in the bathroom on the ceiling, also the bedsheets and blanket were unacceptable. The sheets had little lint balls all over them very uncomfortable to sleep on and the top sheet was so thin. It was like you could see through it.

Everything was very clean and organized. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Our room had many issues- stuffed toilet, broken hair drier, broken arm on desk chair! They did give us a new room when we went to the front desk.

The Perfect Location.

Location The room was musty and kinda smelled.

We always stay here because it is in a great location near a mall and restaurants, our dog loves it, and the staff is wonderful.

Quiet and in the middle of everything. No fan in bathroom. Not cleaned at all.

Great location The fact that our toilet didn’t flush.. from desk lady was rude and called me a liar. Never got fixed or no solution other than giving me a plunger. Treated with disrespect.
