Location and overall cleanliness of the lobby and parking lot. The smell of drugs in the parking lot first thing we were there. Mattresses were old and worn.

Excellent location and great staff. Front desk personnel and breakfast preparation team all very professional and made for a more enjoyable environment. One elevator of two was down for several hours. Some very loud teenagers on August 15 on the 5th floor. Loud door closings on multiple occasions. This isn't the hotels fault.

Friendly breakfast and cleaning staff. Very clean. Easy to get to. Only issue was with extremely firm mattresses. My friend and I both had back pain the day after.

Pool was clean (there was a dead bird near it, I notified staff, and they took care of it right away). Breakfast was average good. not bad at all. Room was clean, quiet, and I did feel comfortable (safe).

We have always used Hampton Inn in Barboursville, WV on our trips in. As always the staff was tremendous, but the breakfast on Sat morning was not up to what we have been accustomed to. Not blaming the staff, but Corporate. We did not get our breakfast there on Sunday, instead opted for the restaurant next door. Hoping things will get better.
