Fairfield Inn & Suites By Marriott Barstow

At breakfast the waffle maker was close to broken, they ran out of biscuits 5 minutes after it started and took more than 10 minutes to get more, there was no butter out until I asked one of the attendants and their oven stopped working 2 days prior so there was no food at the bar. Nothing major just seems like a better than average hotel and didn’t quite meet our expectations.

It was very nicely appointed, very clean throughout and the breakfast offerings were both hot and cold and very delicious. We would stay there again.

As soon as i checked, I went towards the "bar", to look at a menu so I could order food. After long day of traveling and going to work, I put in 15 hour day. It wasn't busy at all by any means, and I stood and waited to ask for a menu. I was somewhat acknowledged as the bartender asked a couple besides me if they were ready to order, they order drinks instead. She told me she would be with me, and then proceeded to make their drinks. Ok, then she went and took someone else's order. And I was like ok, all I wanted was to see a menu. After 10 minutes of standing, she took another drink order, which it was casual drinkers, someone one ordered a glass of wine. After that I just grabbed my bags, and headed to my room. Wasn't offered anything or asked to see a menu. So, I did some more work from my room and ordered food from somewhere else that was nearby.

Inexpensive place to stay for one night while passing thru. The wall in our room had something stuck to it. The carpet in the hallways was badly stained in numerous places.

Beautiful hotel, comfortable rooms. Especially liked that there was a restaurant/bar on site. Swimming pool was great. Also loved having charging stations on site.

It did have a smell not to bad but it was alittle disappointing

Parking area was packed. Parking in the back corner, made me nervous.

Husbands and I went for an overnight trip and were greeted with great hospitality when we arrived and also when we left. Beautiful hotel and great price. Didn’t get the opportunity to try the breakfast as we were meeting up with family. But as we were checking out, the delicious aroma filled the lobby. We will definitely stay again next time we’re in the area.

This is a fantastic place to stay for a night if you're passing through Barstow, CA.

This property is, imo, the nicest in the Barstow area- Super clean, farthest off-set from I-15, food/shopping very close by. Rooms are new/clean, & staff helpful. Sometimes depending on U.S. Military rotations or tour bus stop-htl is full. Because of CA Railroad renovations, also sometimes booked. Price per/nt always increases if full- But I’m a Marriott member, & whenever poss, I rebook.

The location was perfect, with many dining choices within easy walking distance. The rooms were very clean, quiet, and nicely appointed. The pool was also quite nice and the breakfast had a wide variety of options. I seldom find a hotel mattress to be uncomfortable but the bed's mattress was far too soft and not supportive at all. Additionally, our 10 year-old granddaughter, who weighs only 88 lbs, mentioned she could feel the support bars on the pull-out sofa bed and said it was quite uncomfortable. I sat on the bed to comb out her hair and the mattress did indeed feel uncommonly thin even for a sofa bed. Considering the facility was built in 2023, both of these conditions were a bit disappointing.
