Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Barstow by IHG

Great location. Breakfast needs improving!

Hotel was conveniently located of I-15 near highway 58. Room was comfortable, however not enough power outlets near bedside table. Breakfast was really good with good options. Keurig coffee maker in room was a nice bonus.

Easy check in, super clean, breakfast at the ready (good choices) 6-9am (closes at 9am exactly, don’t come late), looking forward to staying there again

Room outdated.. you can see the wear.. Breakfast area crowded. Staff is great.

I had a connecting room with a noisy neighbour the first night. I spoke to the front desk the following morning and they happily switched my room to one that didn’t connect to another room.

They were friendly and helpful and breakfast was great!

I liked my entire visit. The staff was friendly, the room was immaculate, and I was even able to have an enjoyable breakfast the following morning. Most of all, I was satisfied with the customer service. I was double-charged on my card, so I called, and the staff was tremendously helpful in resolving my issue. There wasn't anything that I didn't like. So, I feel that this question is a non-factor for me. I guess the next time I will try to find something to write in this section. LOL!!

Convenient location Nothing, it was all great

Roommate clean… the Walter pressure in bathroom was terrible. After a 5min, the shower was cold and water pressure wasn’t beyond a 2.5/5

It was a great stay. Staff very friendly. Felt very safe. Would stay again.

Location is good - easy to get to, quiet, and no homeless people around this part of Barstow. The room was clean, and the bed was comfy. They have Dove toiletries, which is a very nice touch. Also there is a keurig machine in the room for morning coffee. Breakfast was OK - not as good as at the newer La Quinta locations, albeit Holiday Inn did have more options for fruits on waffles and they did have yogurt. Breakfast verdict - the sweet options of waffles, cereal, yogurt, and fruits options are good; but the savory options are a bit disappointing - English muffins, scrambled eggs, and breakfast sausage patties. And they were out of eggs, so only the English muffins and sausage patties were left. Breakfast hours are from 6AM-9AM. Breakfast should be until 10AM. Eggs were done by 8:45 and not replenished.

I come back an hour later he’s checking in more guests and still hasn’t got to my room. He goes to the room with me and could not get it working. He gives me a new room but the new room also has no AC. Unshowered and still hot I checked out at about 11:00 pm.I shouldn’t be charged!

Quiet, convenient to freeways and restaurants (Chili’s is right next door), excellent breakfast, front desk is staffed 24 hours by friendly, helpful staff, all this and pet friendly!

From the comfortable beds, Dove toiletries in the bathroom, and fantastic breakfasts, we always love the stay.

The staff was very friendly. The property overall, especially the public areas are very tired and is in need of a complete renovation.
