Extended Stay America Suites Bartlesville Hwy 75

Room was clean, had fitness room, property itself was clean & the bed was really comfortable. I would stay again if needed.

System went down and took over 30 minutes to come back up. So I couldn't get my room key until it was all done.

Everything. The room was spacious, floors were clean (loved the no carpet), being able to set the room temperature to my personal liking, and the recliner(a bonus) and bed were comfortable. Thank you, Juan and Valerie for being so friendly, pleasant, and welcoming. Not offering shampoo, conditioner, and lotion, BUT I understand why, since this hotel is an extended stay one.

Hotel

The room was clean. But the air conditioner made a loud grinding noise and sounded like it grinds to a halt. Its so loud it startles me awake over night. It does it about every 7 minutes.

Check-in was quite arduous - several LONG LONG detailed forms to sign that were out of the norm for a short-term rental like a hotel.

I would have rated this hotel higher based on the room and my initial contact with the staff. However, how they handled an unfortunate "act of God" is why I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. There was a severe thunderstorm and power went out at the hotel at 7pm. We got back at 11:30pm and it was in total darkness. Even though there was an employee outside, she did not explain to us what happened or offer us a flashlight or any other information until I went over and asked if she worked there. She said if you go up the stairs, it is really dark so beware and your key should work but nothing else will. She said she had no idea when anything would be back on. The room was like an oven and window only opened 3 inches. We gathered up our stuff with my husband's phone flashlight and had to go find another place to stay. I asked about a refund and she said to call Expedia to report it. Expedia reached out to the hotel and they denied the refund saying they weren't responsible for a power outage. I called the manager to see if he would make it right and he refused. We were never offered a flashlight, an apology for the inconvenience or a discount or anything. If you can't take care of your guests in an emergency then I wouldn't trust that you could take care of them any other time. Expedia on the other hand, issued us a partial credit since Extended Stay offered us nothing. So, I HIGHLY recommend Expedia but you should just find another hotel in Bartlesville.

I was triple charged by the hotel. It was extremely hot inside and my animals were dying. I had to get two different sets of room keys because the ones they gave me didn’t work. Would never recommend to anyone and would not stay again.

Staff is always helpful everytime I stay here. Convenient location. And rooms are clean and quiet.

The staff was super nice and apologetic of the situation. I did not ask for a correction for the situation they could not help. Hopefully they can fix this issue
