Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Bartlesville by IHG

Very easy to check in, clean, quiet and comfortable!

It was not what I have expected from other stays at a Holiday inn express. The room had some kind of nats in it that made me feel very uncomfortable. The elevators lights were out so I took the stairs. I’m pretty sure that the sausage for breakfast was what made me sick. The pool area was gross. Will not go back to this hotel.

They actually gave us clean towels every day!

It is a nice hotel. Very clean and quiet. I will say that when I got in at 3 for check in the 2 employees weren't sure if my room was ready. They checked me in and one went to check to see if the room was ready and when I asked isn't check in at 3, I was informed that it's 4 if you're not a rewards member. I'm not a fan of that, I had driven 7 hours and needed to be able to rest. The website said 3 is check in, not 4. The room ended up being ready so I was able to go to it. Otherwise, everything else was great.

Staffing was very friendly and courteous however not as responsive and we thought they should have been to our toilet none flushing issue.

This was a quick overnight stay. We got in after midnight & staff was ready for us. Breakfast was good. We got an e cc’d tea hour checkout with no questions since our late check in.

Breakfast was great. When I ask for receipt was told since I booked thru a different party it would be emailed never received one

Breakfast area was clean and well lighted. Good and fresh selection of food items. Plenty of room for guests. Good size TV for viewing. nothing

Bathroom was infested with a lot of ants and short on toilet paper and facial tissues. Trash on carpet. Cleaning staff did not speak English. They missed servicing my room a few times, so I had to go to the front desk in my pj's for towels, etcetera, twice because they didn't give me hand towels either. Milk at breakfast was sour and curdled. The pancake machine didn't work most days. The coffee was good. It was fresh ground and fresh brewed. The breakfast options never changed, but they were plentiful. Desk staff were nice, but not very competent. The bed was comfortable, but there were no extra blankets and the pillows were lumpy. The hotel went downhill from the first time I stayed there in July 2023. I will not stay there again!

There was never enough toilet paper in the rooms or the public restrooms.

The staff, all the staff, were polite and respectful. However, in our room, there were 2 lamps that did not have bulbs. I asked for two light bulbs, but was told that only the manager had those and he was not in. Therefore we had very little light because the curtain cords were not connected to the automatic opener. The faucet in the tub put three times as much water in the tub than we had in the shower head. We probably won’t stay there in the future.

When I got up this morning, I looked at the wall AC control and found it had turned itself off. I followed the front desk person's direction—to set it to 68 degrees and keep the fan on auto—yet, sometime during the night, it turned itself off! Although I've stayed at a Holiday Inn Express many times before, this was the first time I left feeling disappointed.

Note- I've stayed here before and it was always a very comfortable stay. Probably won't stay here again.

Convenient location, nice staff, good breakfast A bit run down, needs upkeep & update… especially pool area… looks & feels dirty… bottom of pool & hot tub needs to be drained & repainted. Carpets in elevator & areas in room need to be deep cleaned… areas repainted/repaired etc. Tub in room bottom of tub very slick, easy to slip. Stayed at this hotel previously last year and it wasn’t as run down…

We’ve been staying at this hotel for the last four years over the Memorial Day weekend and 2026 was likely the last time we will stay. There was a significant leak coming from the ceiling in the sitting/dining area just pass the lobby. The room had a stale cigarette smell that did not leave. The in room AC unit is stuck on Eco mode and was unable to cool down our room. Couch in the suite had stains on the couch cushions.

This is a nicely located hotel with clean facilities and great staff.

The staff was very friendly and when we checked in they had the numbers of the rooms we had reserved written right on the reservation forms and we got just what we had asked for. The rooms were comfortable. The breakfast was very good. I don't like the cold floors of most hotels/motels today, although I understand why so many are going that way. I prefer a nice warm carpet even though I know it takes more upkeep.
