There wasn’t a breakfast offered The phone in the room I was assigned didn’t work and when I brought it to the on duty clerk, I was onformed there was no maintenance person available and I was not offered a different room. BIG SAFETY VIOLATION IF AN EMERGENCY EVACUATION HAD BEEN NECESSARY. I stayed at your franchise in Chino, California for six months several years ago, and this property was not up to standards for sure. As it was LSU graduation weekend in Baton Rouge, finding a vacancy to go elsewhere wasn’t possible. Also the commode seat would not stay up, so it was awkward to stand up to urinate, so I had to sit. Being an 82 year old male, well you get the message. The bedside table had trash behind it and the floor underneath was filthy. The clerk did give me a different phone to try, but it didn’t work. So there is/was a problem with the outlet for sure. I retired as a communications telcon worker, so was sure it was no the telephone instrument being the fault.☹️☹️☹️

This property is more for long term stays. It doesn't really function as a typical hotel. I'm not sure why Expedia included it in my options for a 3 night hotel stay. In one room the AC made too much noise to sleep. In the next room the shower had very little pressure. The staff was very helpful

Clean rooms but needs remodeling and the front desk person was not very friendly or helpful.

NOTHING!!! The staff (Tracey) was inept. My check-in took FOREVER!!!! THE HOTEL STAFF. Terrible!!!!! Noisy surroundings. Horrible guests next to my room. A man screamed throughout the night! Not kidding. He knocked on the wall which I heard. Terrible!!!!!
-
I like how affordable the room was People hanging out at night in the parking lot after staff closes
-
The room was dirty and had stains on the floor and furniture. I wasn’t sure if the bedding was clean so I slept fully clothed and didn’t stay the second night. The stove, microwave and refrigerator were dirty. There were no hotel essentials. People were arguing down the hall. The staff member was in the back. When she came out she had an attitude and greeted me while chewing a mouth full of corn nuts. She provided no directions to the room. She just handed me my room key
-
They allowed me to pay for the room but when I arrived they said it was not available with no further explanation and I had to find other accommodations with no further assistance from the Staff or a Manager.

Whatever you do, do NOT stay at this hotel!! At check in, you could tell it was a basic hotel, but the front desk was nice and we were just there for a weekend and not going to be in the room that much. We put our stuff in the room and left for the day. When we returned that night, the front desk was padlocked, the hallway smelled like w**d and there was a party outside the front door, playing loud music and cursing very loudly until after 2am. By midnight our room smelled like w**d and the screaming of curse words down the hall kept us up all night. We went to find anyone that worked there and found the housekeeper smoking in the hallway. Let’s add that 2 of the 3 lamps didn’t have lightbulbs, the tv didn’t work and it took three times to flush the toilet every single time. We decided we were not staying a second night. We waited for over ten minutes trying to find any employee to say we were leaving and never saw anyone. The hotel will not refund the second night that we didn’t stay. Overall, it was not clean, not maintained and we did not feel safe. The only positive experience was the lady that checked us in was nice. Please learn from my mistake and find another hotel.

Bed bugs and trash in my room

I needed a hotel for baton Rouge. It was that. The room smelled so strong of chemicals it was nauseating. No continental breakfast, ice machine, not even a vending machine for drinks. No real toiletries for guests just bare minimum. The bed was uncomfortable.

Bed was comfortable, Staff was OK but NOT MUCH HELP pass check in Stove burners MISSING so we couldn't cook like we wanted to, inside drawers were NOT cleaned, NO ICE IN BUILDING??? What HOTEL DOESNT HAVE ICE?? NO coffee or breakfast for customers, CHARGING a $1.75 fee for EXTRA TOWELS??? DIDN'T CLEAN AND SERVICE ROOM DAILY?? WHAT HOTEL DOES THAT?? We've had even cheaper hotels do better--
