Homewood Suites by Hilton Baton Rouge

The place is nice and clean, however the phone in my room didn’t work at all and the toilet made a hissing noise.

Loved the pool and the two room suite was perfect for our family of six. It was very spacious, so we had plenty of room to spread out and not be on top of each other. The mattress on the king bed really needs to be replaced.

Great Nothing

The check in process was great and the ice was bagged and ready to go for guests :)

This was an excellent stay! The carpet and sofa in the room was a little musty - but everything else was clean and great! The breakfast was yummy and had a lot of choice! We will stay again when visiting our daughter for college!

Great staff

Rooms were nice, and huge. The staff was so friendly. My family and I felt super comfortable which isn't normal for us in hotels. Loved the fact that they had big bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the showe in the bathroom. The kitchen in the room has a stove top, apartment size fridge, dishwasher, microwave, and dishes. The pull out couch was very comfortable. We were in a suite and and it felt like I was in an apartment with everything I needed. If I ever have to go down there agian foray reason this is where I will stay. Breakfast was amazing. It wasn't the normal cereal, toast, and muffins. They cooked eggs, sausage, hash browns with veggies and sausage, smoked sausage, and grits. I'm not sure what else the cook on other days. But the two days we were there it was different breakfast. They also had yogurt and fruit. They had grills outside in case you wanted to grill. By far the best hotel I went to. The price was honestly shocking for what you get. I would have expected to pay alot more for this any where else. The pool needed to be cleaned some more. But im sure that was because they were packed and had a social event going on at the time so they couldn't make it to the pool. It wasn't green or anything. Just needed to be skimmed for leaves and bugs

Nice area and good breakfast

The property location was fine. The lobby was well kept The hallways were stained the carpet was stained in the hallways. The hotel room was humid the pullout couch. The mattress was stained, and the mattress was very uncomfortable. The blanket that they provided felt like it was deteriorating. It felt like plastic rather than fabric there was mold in the restroom. and at around 1 AM, there was a hotel guest that was being incredibly loud and it took the hotel staff over half an hour to handle the situation.

The housekeeping service was terrible. I ask many times that I want to talk with the general manager was imposible because she was never there. The only kindness and helpful person of the front desk was Alisson. I also found a roach in the bed so I definitely don’t recommend to stay in here because is awful.

The lady that did the breakfast was AMAAAAAAAAAAZING !!! The breakfast was soooooo good !!! The pool wasn’t working

We enjoyed our stay - the breakfast, quiet, peaceful area, great parking, and wonderfully kind and gracious staff.

Breakfast

I liked that it included breakfast although I have had better. There was much variety and one of the milks that date was not expired had cured and I was thinking is the food not stored properly. We didn’t get to use any amenities ex. The pool or workout room. But there seemed clean. I could have had a better room. I live have a kitchen when I travel with my kids so that was a plus. Though the room seemed kinda small …The bottom of the ac unit cover was hanging off and whether it was residue from or just a lot of dust collecting in the area it threw off the whole ambiance of the room and my stay. Also there were clear signs of wear and tear on the furniture like it’s ok to get the upholstery cleaned especially on light colored furniture. I booked this hotel based on the brand name but I could have stay at a lower bracket chain hotel . Overall it’s an ok hotel. But the price was not worth the hype. Next time I will try the Marriott in that area.

Breakfast was good When I checked in the room was dirty bathtub had dirty water in it also trash was in all the garbage cans and they still made us stay in the room claiming that was the only room available smh

Older hotel, needs an hotel update

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The lobby was clean , but the automatic handicap did not open on there own you had to push and pull them open while trying to get a luggage cart through them. The hallways are clean , but the carpet is stained abd very worn and faded. The room again was clean, but very dated and in needed of an update. Also, the beds were not very comfortable. Absolutely not to the level that you would expect from a Hilton. That whole place was just kinda blah. I expect much more from a Hilton since I'm paying for Hilton quality.

Maid service was nonexistent

Nothing. We made the reservation and drove into town in the middle of a horrible, flooding storm, only to be told that they didn’t have the room I reserved for our family of 6. The lady at the desk wasn’t helpful at all. She told me she didn’t have the room I needed and she couldn’t help me at all. Told me I’d have to take it up with Booking.com. Told me they couldn’t guarantee I’d get my money back but that she didn’t have my room available. Offered ZERO concessions. I had traveled to Baton Rouge, LA from Orlando, FL that day with four young children. We were exhausted and soaking wet. And told there was “no room at the inn,” despite the fact that I had prepaid $243 for a room with 3 beds.
