Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Baton Rouge

Room was disgusting. Paint chipping off the walls. The bathtub looked dirty. And room smelled bad. Floor was wet in some spots and sticky. Front door staff was not very friendly, and talked to each other in another language while I was trying to check in. Didn’t feel safe.

The rooms had smelled like mildew so we didn’t stay there because of that !

The rooms had no light bulbs or hangers for clothes leftover

This hotel advertises but has not one of the amenities that it claims it has. It is also filthy, rooms dirty from the linens from the towels, walls to carpets. The pool is also cemented, no media room, no ice machine as well and only one working light that was dim the entire time. This roach motel is worse than when Martin & Gina went to Chilligan’s Island!

It was what you would expect at this price point. But he bed was clean and pretty comfortable and the window could be opened, so we got a good sleep at least.

Room smelled musty. Plumbing above bathroom leaked into my room, hence the musty smell. It rained down preventing me from using the bathroom.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. For the price it was worth it and we will gladly stay again. It was close to choices of restaurants also.

The first room they put me the toilet did not work. The second room they put me in smelled awful. Like mold or mildew, very musty. The main lights for the room did not work only the lamp by the bed.

Parking good. Pool is filled in. Grsss growing on it.

Cons: When checking in we had to wait about 10 minutes as there was no one there. Room was not adequately stocked with towels. There were no sheets for the pull out sofa bed. No smoke detector as there was hole where it had been removed. The bathtub had no stopper for the tub. Looked like they had tried to do upgrades but they were half way done. Trash was piled up at every trash can. Facility said that it was no smoking, but we saw numerous guest smoking inside the facility.

Staff aren't very friendly.

Si no te importan los malos olores, puedes quedarte ahí. Ya que es súper barato y estaba medianamente limpio. El personas, son árabes y no es que sean tan amigables. Pero tampoco pedantes. Solo personas trabajando normal. Per eso si, no volvería a reservar ahí 😬
