The smoke detector in our room was covered with plastic. The ceiling in the bathroom looked like it had mold on it, black.

The room was clean. The heater smelled like dead mice. The breakfast was very scarce- only waffles, 2 types of cereal, one type of yogurt, one type of muffin, white bread; and the same thing every day. The owners lite off fireworks on the 4th until midnight outside the building so nobody got any sleep; horrible for my children!!!! Staff was friendly though and no issues with the room. Beds are pretty firm.

Location. Breakfast area was clean and had decent options to choose from. Broken coffee pot. Shampoo in shower felt more like body soap.
-
Everything was fine except for the screaming child somewhere in the building. It went on until 1 or 2 in the morning and started back up about 6 am.

The air conditioner was not cooling well. Very damp in the room with heavy mold and mildew odor. Linens were clean but overall very dank and uncomfortable

It was more like a Motel.....which was great. You don't see many of those around anymore. It was connected to the Commander Bar And Grill which also was fun. The food is very good!! Close to Pelican Beach.....great lake. Sandy beaches, shallow and noooo weeds😁. It was a pretty good find, everything else was booked in the surrounding area and this popped up on hotels.com. The rooms are older but clean and quiet. I mean you would never know you were connected to a bar or even had a room with people in it next to you....very quiet!

The breakfast consisted of waffles, muffins, yogurt, bananas and juice. Usually there was no one at the front desk. I will never use this hotel again.

Musty smell, hair on bathroom floor. Empty box in the fridge, which didn't cool at all. Broken ice machine. Dead flowers on the desk. Breakfast was ok.
-
Very overpriced for the quality of the room.
-
It was an adequate place to stay. Ice machine was broken.
-
Very nice and helpful staff. The room was mostly clean but needed a more thorough dusting.

This is definitely a basic hotel. Very old and grungy. Thankfully we only slept here and there it. Breakfast was free, but could use some protein. Waffle maker, sliced bread, yogurt and cereal only. Room was dark and dirty. Very in need of an update. Staff was good. Hotel had constant marijuana smell and was run down. Nice location and glad the price wasn’t more than $75 a night.

Easy access. Provided light breakfast.

The entry area to the room needed cleaning and maintenance. We opened the door to the room, the window was open and air conditioner was running set at 65. There was a bad smell in the room so it appeared they were trying to air out the room. We had to leave to see family. I received a email from Super 8 asking if there was anything they could help with. I responded with the smell in the room. Never got a response. We got back to the hotel after 8:00. I went right to where we checked in and told the gal about the room. I asked her to go smell the room. She said she was the only one there and couldn’t leave. I asked for another room. She said she there wasn’t another room available. She said she would let her manager know. I went back to the room and now noticed how dirty and beat up the room was. Dust on every flat surface except counter height. Split dirty moulding in the bathroom. Drain plug pulled out. Stained tub and shower curtain. Dusty light fixtures. Smoke detector missing. Minimal breakfast. We got up early and left. No one at the counter when I dropped off keys. Does Expedia look at prperties????
