Comfort Suites Bay City East

The breakfast was excellent every morning. Warm what it has to be, cool what it has to be and everything looking fresh.

Did the job. Nothing to complain about.

A/C in room was not cold. Very difficult to open our room door with the keycard, took us many tries to get it to turn green so we could open door. Between the mattress and headboard was very dirty with hair and crumbs and yucky stuff on the boxspring. We noticed it when we were checking for bedbugs. Our room was bedbug free. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was delicious and fully stocked. The pictures online showing a hot tub near the pool, but there is definitely not a hot tub as it appears that it was filled in with concrete.

3 day stay. Check in was quick and easy. Staff was exceptional. Rooms were clean. Pool was clean. Had issues with room keys the last day of our stay that got a bit frustrating (different front desk staff??). Every time we left the room the key didn't work when we returned. Breakfast was good for a quick start to the day. I would definitely stay there again.

We had an okay stay till the hotel charged us extra due to them messing up the charges upon check in. Instead of them calling Hotels.com and rectifying their mistake with them. They charged my card for incidentals and then asked me to call Hotels.com and get reimbursed for it. So I had to take time out of my vacation to go do their mess, and that was not a quick phone call. The breakfast was mediocre, not a whole lot of healthy choices to choose from. The pool was nasty so I got the net and cleaned it so the kids could swim. The hotel needs maintenance badly. The entry way and the floors were nice. Showers, sinks, and walls need some TLC. We will not be back here. Will try one of the other hotels in town next time.

Good location in bay city. Room was spacious. Quiet atmosphere. Able to accommodate last minute with pet request. Room felt a bit dirty, the carpet felt sticky. You could feel the springs through the bed. AC took a while to kick in.

This is one of the Better Comfort Suites I have stayed at. I choose Comfort a lot to stay in when I’m out of town due to the quality and the cleanliness. This one was very beautiful. The staff was very courteous and helpful and sweet. We would definitely recommend staying at this one in Bay City again and again.

Nice lobby and staff. Clean. Room smelled of mildew and pillows didn't smell clean.

Lobby looked great n hallways. Personal was friendly n helpful. Improve cleanliness IN THE ROOMS n UPDATE/UP GRADE furniture. Better scent in rooms. room was presentable till ROACHES were on all the THE NIGHT STANDS N REFRIGERATOR. Cleaner tub also. If improved wouldn’t be a bad motel at all

The staff was incredible. There was a problem with the handicap shower and they were able to fix it. The carpets and furniture felt wet

The front desk clerk is as so sweet and accommodating. Saw her the next morning for breakfast and she is genuinely a kind person. Our view was the backyard of a trailer home.maybe a little better view if we ever visit Bay City again.

Breakfast was different that most hotels. It was good but the eggs and sausage could have been warmer. The hot water in the water thermos was not hot.

Just what we needed for an overnight stay, gave info and address of a steak restaurant near by, and the breakfast was ready with many choices in the am.

Large, spacious, clean room. The best bed, so comfortable. Friendly staff.

Check in went smoothly. Front desk lady was wonderful. The pull-out sofa did not have bedding available.

Front staff lady was very polite and helpful. Accommodated my small family with our furbaby very well. Hotel outdated itself and definitely in need of renovations. Breakfast, plenty of variety and fresh. Beds comfy. AC cooled room off perfectly. Definitely recommend for a over night stay or 2 if you don't mind a older hotel.
