We are frequent stayers at this hotel. It was always our favorite. The hotel is starting to become run down. Trim falling off walls, cracks in tile, etc. We checked in, the electricity was off. Had to use stairs to get to room while hauling luggage. Was charged twice for the stay. Still waiting on refund for one charge after I was told 3-5 days. The breakfast was not good which was sad because it’s always been great in the past. Really the only thing holding this place together is housekeeping. The cleanliness was top notch. I feel like at this point, we should have just been refunded for the entire stay. Probably won’t stay here again unless major changes happen.

Rooms blinds would open close or block out sign on 24/7 outside. No blackout curtains at all. Giant room with no place to sit but beds. Property is old and not maintained. Zero money has been used to repair since it was probably built. Employees were nice but stuck with management that obviously doesn’t care about them or the location. Sad. You expect more from Hampton Inn

Great location. Area was well lit. Great selection of breakfast. Love the big spacious rooms. Excellent customer service from the staff.

The only problem was that it took too long to get breakfast. They ran out of eggs and skillet potatoes and I had to wait close to 30 minutes. Luckily, I wasn't in a big hurry. But I was hungry.

The motel and its staff have gone downhill. Only helpful person was the night shift guy.

Placement of faucer is really bad (expect lots of splashing), shower water pressure can be weak if you're on upper floors, towels are worn.

Dog friendly (for a fee per stay). Front desk manager was on point. Wifi actually works now.

Hopefully the breakfast being offered at this hotel can improve, else we will not be staying at this specific hotel next time we are in Bay City, TX.

The reservation was for a King's size bathtub first floor. We were given a room on the second floor the blinds did not work.They had no servicemen and didn't know if they would have a serviceman to fix them. The staff was very accommodating and honest. And the towelswere almost threadbarr
