Clean room with helpful staff. Breakfast was great including the help with need of towels.

Nice hotel no issues we are going back to stay there

Room was nice and very pleased with overall experience.

Did not give me my $100 deposit and yet can’t explain why I haven’t gotten it when I clearly did not damage anything of the room and I have picture proof with time stamps as I was on business not here for pleasure

Older hotel, not updated in anyway. The furnishings were worn out, water pressure was weak and the water never got hot. I can only complement the staff. I was surprised at the condition when it bore the LaQuinta name. Many other hotels in the area to choose from.

Then she upgraded us to a king suite for the same price just because they were “slow”. I’m going to be coming to bay city quite a bit in the coming months; and I’m definitely going to spend my money here every single time. Clean hotel, friendly staff. Perfect stay.

Prior to my arrival I called to confirm about the bbq pits I was told they had 2 1) gas and 1) with charcoal I stopped and got what I needed to cook just to get to hotel to no pits, I asked the staff and she had no idea where they could be. The laundry room was also out of order, prior to finding out I asked the staff if I had to have cash or if it was electronic they informed me it was cash. Once I came down to ask if they had another one as the one on my floor was out of order she said no…..

The only thing I liked about the property was that it was dog friendly. Nasty, stained sheets and mattress

The location was good that’s about all I can say about this property The staff from check in to check out were rude,obnoxious and disrespectful

The facility had a smell I general once you go into your room it had a mildew stench shower curtain had mildew spot all at the bottom the mattress and pillow were not comfortable

House keeping did not come and clean rooms ie make beds or replace towels. They would onky come and take dirty towels without leaving fresh ones.

Absolutely the worst hotel experience of my 60 years on this planet. No phones in the room. Room didn't get cleaned a single time in our 3 nights. Only one time were the towels replaced. The soap was never replaced and was an extremely small size so we went to the store and bought our own small bar. The breakfast was laughably horrendous. At best it was powdered eggs with cheese whiz. There was a $250 hold for incidentals. When I pushed on that and the no telephone I was told they were under new ownership and were making a lot of changes. I'm not sure why that would affect OUR visit. I absolutely will never return to this hotel. And we go to fish in Matagorda often.

Staff was very nice and accommodating. The facility was clean, room was very nice.

It was horrible took 25 minutes to check in. The first room, the beds have been slept in. And the TV was broken. The next room we had to carry our towels to from the first room . It was a horrible experience. I would not recommend this place at all cards. Don’t work and the doors have to run down and get a new card every time you want to get in the room it’s just not a good place. I will never stay there again.
