Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Beaufort West, SC

The shower pressure was good and beds were comfy, but our room could have been cleaner, it smelled like cigarette smoke when we walked in our room. The food was the same 3 days in a row and not good. And on our third night staying there the front desk lady only gave me one towel when I asked for more towels and there were 3 of us needing a towel. The next day the manager said there were towels. My family and I will NOT be staying here again. We usually like Country Inn And Suites elsewhere, but this particular property was very disappointing. 😭

Overall it was a good experience. Staff at our arrival was not very knowledgeable or friendly making initial check-in unnecessarily complicated. Issue resolved next day by manager. The facility itself was clean, quiet and pleasant. Breakfast was ok.

The breakfast was sub par. The room was adequately clean. The bedding was terrible. The beds themselves were very squeaky. The mattresses were lumpy. The building was old and had been repaired somewhat.

Convenient location, easy check in 3rd floor reeked of marijuana and cigarettes , pool also smelled bad and was dirty.

The room was nice, the staff not so much.

Staff was polite, rooms cleaned and even though it said every 3 days the cleaning stuff still checked. Breakfast was solid

Algee in the pool. No pool towels. Very dirty pool. Very hard beds. Room felt unclean. Dust etc. No coffee packets for the coffee maker in the room. But algae in the pool was the worst

Was given rm key to a room that not been cleaned. Un made beds and garbage everywhere. Coffee downstairs was just brown water. (Others complained too). Breakfast attendant rude. Then I got charged twice for the room. Two different cards No apologies

The room smelled really bad. They carpet was filthy. We killed two cock roaches. Will never stay there again. Then they charged me more then what i was told. I was told 329. Total including tax. And I was charged 379.00. Location was good for where we needed to be.

The a/c in the fourth room we were given kept us comfortable and the bed was great for sleeping. If it were not for the customer service provided at check-in and the way that young lady fought every obstacle presented by the adverse conditions presented by the other three rooms we were presented, we would have asked for a refund based upon the fact that the rooms were not suitable accommodations for our family. It is because of her we chose to keep giving the hotel another chance. Overall temperature in hallways, foyer, breakfast area, and elevators was too warm for our taste. Our first room was filthy, had a leaking toilet and the door would not shut as it was loose on the hinge side. Our second room that we lugged all our belongings to was unfortunately a clerical error as we were supposed to be in a room on a different floor. The third room had no pillows or blankets on the beds, (and because of few staff being available we were asked to return to the first room and retrieve the pillows that were there) and the a/c unit did not work at all. Add to all this that my wife uses a rollator to move around and the fact that she was walking tremendous stretches in order to get where we were supposed to be, she was totally exhausted and we still had a high school graduation to attend that evening. The fourth room was not ideal but by this time we were all in a head space that overlooked minor flaws just so we could unpack and get a few minutes rest. We spent over an hour moving from one room to the last. Needless to say, we will not be back.

Amazing. Hugh room, comfortable bed, really really good breakfast, and the owner and staff were excellent. If I come back to Beaufort I will book this hotel again. I loved everything. Nothing was wrong.

Entire facility looked like it could stand a good cleaning from top to bottom.

It’s conveniently located. The pool was unclean and the doors leading inside filthy despite not being used by other guests.

Upon check-in, we were given keys and when we opened the door to our room, it was a dirty room that had never been cleaned. Unmade beds and trash in different places. we had to walk downstairs to get a different room. Coffee was watery and cold which we were told would be made all night long. And my credit card got charged along with my debit card. Breakfast attendant was not nice when we pointed out that it was not real coffee but water. Other guests were complaining as well.
