Howard Johnson by Wyndham Beckley

There was no breakfast-coffee & toast. Wrappers were left on the floor in our room. Room was very loud you can hear everything going on in every direction. Will spend the extra for somewhere else our next visit to Beckley.

Decent, clean, disappointing breakfast

The accommodations were excellent

Nice comfortable bed and a great shower with pressure,, rare in hotels, Nothing all was good.

The room was clean and quiet Had to hassle with the doors to get the luggage rack in and out. The refrigerator was not cold.,.. barely cool.

Really didn't care for the breakfast at all. Hardly any dining room. Very little variety. Would never go back. Continental breakfast and dining room.

Smelling hotel

The breakfast was worthless.

Parking lot was not crowded When checking in gentleman was very rude as if we unconvinced him to do his job. Also signage was creepy. No one in the lobby after 10pm and refusal to rent to locals. And when you walk in stating if you rented from same chain different place you were not permitted in the building. Very pricey

The manager accommodated me by allowing my husband to check in early while I went to a meeting. The hotel was run down, not clean, had a lot of loud people and drug activity. None of the pictures reflected the property. The pool had an inch of dirty water. It advertises a spa and that doesn’t exist. The rooms themselves weren’t horrible but not clean either.

Location was good for our trip to the New River Gorge. Staff friendly. No tissue in room. Breakfast was just ok - at least they had coffee.

This was a decent place for an overnight stop. Very clean.

Ended up just being a place to sleep. Was told via request and also thru chat that we would be able to have a smoking room. Which was not the case. Desk worker took pic of confirmation of granting the requested, but refused to accommodate. In the morning the manager had been sent that picture, but was rude about it being not true. We have stayed here before... This time very unsatisfied. Plus, at check in the clerk was more worried about looking at a phone as opposed to checking me in . Spent several minutes looking at something on his phone at the check in desk before he even acknowledged me. Also was told would be 2 queen beds and they were 2 full size.

The room was not clean I found hair all over one of the beds, bath tub and sink. I also found empty plastic water bottle near garbage can and sticky mess on night table. I did go down to reception and complained and the guy told me that was the 2nd time this week he had same complaint and he would make sure they do a better job, very unacceptable.the breakfast was awful not a hot breakfast will never stay here again will pay a little extra to get better

The guy at the front desk was amazing. He was kind and efficient with getting me checked in. Pillows could be better quality.
