Best Western Plus Beckley Inn

Everything was good except I’m 6’5” and I use a walker and my wife is 5’9”. The height of the commodes are for kids. I have back and knee problems that makes these Commodes vert hard to use.

Items served were old/stale. Poor choice. Bugs in the pool. Breakfast was subpart. Tv did not have any channels available. The room smelled musty.

Our sray was pleasant and will stay again when we travel in that area.

We stayed in a room with two beds and one of the beds had a giant long red stripe, running up and down one of the sheets. My friends choose to strip the sheets and sleep in blankets we had brought. The room was quiet at night. The room smelled strongly of pet urine. We purchased pet odor eliminator powder and re-vacuumed the room and it helped slightly but we had to keep the bedroom door propped open for the first six hours of our stay. I was the only one brave enough to take a shower because it looked a little scary and there was no hot water (I reported this to staff upon checkout). The outdoor pool was small but very nice. The free breakfast offered whole milk, plain bagels, oatmeal, scrambled eggs and salsa. Reportedly sausage was coming soon. The fresh fruit (bananas and mandarin oranges looked hopeless). They had a nice Nescafé machine and several kinds of juice from a machine as well. Staff was friendly. Fox News was on TV in the breakfast room; it would have been nice to have something “neutral” on or something, not news-related showing instead.

The hotel is ok, but some staff members were not very friendly. The lady at the breakfast area was very nice but could not handle all the work on her own, especially on a busy Sunday morning.

This hotel is very clean and comfortable. It is also about $100 less than hotels in the area that are just like it. It is a great value! I was happy to have such a nice room, a restful night, and a good deal!

Clean room and bathroom. Fresh hallways

We were in a jam and they really helped us out. Good dog walk area. Pretty pool area. Rooms are spacious and light. Good parking. Safe area with many restaurants within walking distance. Stairwells are easy to use with easy access to the back dog walks. Great place to take your dog. I appreciate this place. And let me tell you, everyone in West Virginia was super kind to us.

Very old property. Had telephone plug in on wall of bathroom. Bath and tub were really out dated. But room was clean and comfortable, just drab and outdated. (The yellow desk chair was awesome!)

Bathrooms way too small. No bathroom fan.

Clean, updated room with comfortable beds. The breakfast was very good with a hard working staff keeping it full of food. Overall a very nice place to stay.

Front desk & kitchen staff very friendly & helpful. We enjoyed the very pleasant atmosphere

Hotel smelled somewhat musty and room smelled very musty.

Room ac worked but very humid. The breakfast was very disappointing.. had to ask for refills on stuff sausage overcooked and hard. Eggs watery.not good

Room was clean, people very nice but rating reduced due to being checked into an occupied room, WiFi not working and breakfast unpalatable.

Hotel was clean and fine for one night. WiFi did not work and front desk just gave me a number to call to get help. No human answered the call Guessing this is an ongoing issue.
