Candlewood Suites Bedford Fort Worth by IHG

The entire stay was terrible the room had roaches and the air conditioning didn’t work terrible and the front desk said B if you see another just let us know no option to change rooms or anything

When I walked right in and this very lovely lady was working the front desk to check me in. She greeted me with a very sweet smile and small conversation. She made me feel welcome there. I don’t remember her name but kudos to hiring her. Please let her know that she is appreciated. The stay was perfect, it was very hot outside and the AC worked like a charm. I think the only thing I do not like is that they do not do any type of breakfast since the name change. Even if you could do some type of package breakfast that needed no preparation that would work too. Overall it was a very nice stay.

The staff were so helpful. When we first arrived, the pull out sofa had not been cleaned. We called down, and you could tell the guy downstairs was extremely upset. He immediately moved us into another room.

Still, my husband and I tried to stay at least one night. Then, when we checked the bed, the pillow smelled like greasy hair, which clearly shows the pillow case was not washed after someone used it. It was a complete deal breaker, so we went back downstairs within 10 minutes after checking in, and told the receptionist that we'd like to cancel the stay. The receptionist didn't even ask why we wanted to cancel, and flatly said, "you know we'll still charge you for one night," without showing any concern or anything. We just said, "okay, that's fine" and left.

Check in staff was the friendliest ever. Hotel was very clean and peaceful.

It was a great value for the price!

They overcharged me my charging my card twice overdrafted my account and calls me overdraft fee and all they just say was it’s gonna drop off. It should drop back off well that didn’t make the overdraft fee drop back off. They were very nonchalant about it and him calling the manager while I was standing there, he took my number and no one ever called me. It did eventually drop off, but I still incurred overdraft fees..

The room was very clean and comfortable.

Was okay… not as nice as some of the other Candlewood. But it was a nice quiet stay

Nothing there was a horrible smell in the hotel. Alot of thing the A/C barely worked there was a bad smell in the room and carpet was unclear.

The hotel is clean, the staff is helpful and parking is free and feels safe. We were disappointed they no longer serve breakfast, and the outside doors (other than the front door) wouldn't open with the room key. Also, there's a resident raccoon that has accumulated a lot of trash on the backside of the property. Overall we still enjoyed our stay here despite some of the drawbacks.

Run down basically needs some TLC. Door barely closed and the room was just kind of run down and old.

Cheap Asked for a receipt the times and never got one.

There was no breakfast available. There's also no pool or hot tub. It was a great room and stay, especially for the price. It's in a quiet location, as well. It seems like they're making improvements, which is good.

No ice in Room or ice machine available or my review would be better Loved the free coffee in the lobby

The waffles were great! There were no plates or knives which soured the experience a bit. I enjoyed the coffee at the front desk. I appreciate the in room kitchenette and the cleanliness. Outside curb is smashed and uneven and presents a hazard. Overall a great stay.

All of the above mentioned..the evening staff was nice however it went downhill from there. The room was different from what was expected. I wouldn't feel comfortable referring this property to anyone.
