Historically beautiful hotel. Room is basic but had all the essentials and clean. The theater room in the basement is a nice touch.
-
The perfect location for enjoying downtown Bellingham. Great amenities, including live music and bar. Staff was extra courteous and helpful. Convenient parking.I can’t wait to come back.
-
absolutely loved my stay will be coming back again. The only thing I noticed is the birds get kinda noisy, but the hotel does supply earplugs. Very nice stay

The rooms are clean, well maintained and the bed was amazing!
-
Great location to walk all around downtown Bellingham. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Rooms are incredibly outdated with carpet stains and mildew-y showers. Had some weird interactions with the front desk staff. One of our rooms smelled so musty and old. I love that this is a historical building but they need to update the rooms. Also, windows don’t close all the way. Also they say free parking but there is nowhere near enough parking for guests so it’s useless.

This could be a beautiful hotel. The lobby is gorgeous. The location is great and my view of the bay was beautiful. But it was not clean and seemed run down. My bathroom had hair all over the floor and the shower floor was dingy. I don’t even think the bathroom had been cleaned between guests. When I alerted the front desk and asked that they send someone up to clean. He didn’t even apologize. He just told me he’d sent house cleaning up like it was no big deal. I am a very easy-going guest. I don’t mind if a place has run down as long as it’s clean. I come to Bellingham a lot, and I won’t be staying here again.

Great location and pet friendly! Would stay again.

It was very noisy. Not much you can do about that. The parking lot is too small and the room costs us more than it should have. We paid over 300 through Expedia which I guess adds to the cost, but the room while ok wasn’t worth that much.
-
Great stay, accommodating staff when we had a room change. Continually checked in to see if we needed anything. Beautiful rooms.
-
Staff was very responsive and helpful.

We arrived late and the front desk staff was very nice and accommodating to what we needed. The hotel is older but nice. Our room was great for what we needed. The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner and the bathtub was slow draining which is kinda yucky.
-
We had to cut short our stay on urgent business, but the hotel was lovely! Staff were extra friendly and relaxed, the lobby has some interesting historical tidbits, and the room had a microwave, mid-sized fridge, premium tea and coffee, water kettle, a portable A/C unit and quiet standing fan.

Classic charm! Loved it.
-
The location is great, walking distance to so many places!
-
Our stay was very nice. Room was clean and comfortable, but the bathroom was a bit cramped (old building retrofit so it was expected), Hotel gym facilities were very good. Location is right in the heart of downtown Bellingham, so we could walk to many restaurants and sights. We would stay there again.
-
Only two drawbacks are limited parking and the beds are too low to the floor.
-
The historic portion of the hotel seems nicer than the "modern" one. Unfortunately my room was in the latter.

Hotel Leo is centrally located downtown. We went to farmers market, bars and restaurants with no ubers and never moved the car. The hotel is a museum with a tour. The rooms are former apartments, so large and spacious. The staff were all great. Natalie and Emma were super helpful.
