The room was filthy and clearly in need of maintenance. The lampshades were cracked and broken, the bathroom light barely worked, and there were white stains or residue all over the walls and molding. Even the top sheet on the bed had visible stains. The worst part was the bathroom entrance, where there was literally a hairball stuck to the area with some sort of white substance. It was disgusting and made us seriously question how thoroughly the room had been cleaned before our arrival. What made the experience even more frustrating was how different our room looked from the rooms advertised online. The website shows what appears to be a nicely remodeled, clean room. That was absolutely not what we received. Based on our experience, it felt like the remodeled room shown online may simply be the room used for promotional photos. For a hotel in San Francisco, I expected basic cleanliness and a room that at least reasonably resembled what was advertised. Unfortunately, this room fell far short of that.

Very clean and cozy. Staff is great. My husband left his wallet and watch in the drawer. We called the office and thank God they kept it for us and got them back. Thankful for their honesty and integrity.

Very clean and friendly owners. Only received one washcloth both stays. Sufficient coffee pods in room, no extra tea or liquid creamers. Breakfast room was pointed out to use on second stay, but ran out of coffee and all supplies. We would probably stay here again.

Was unable to check in early and then because of the gathering needed to check in early evening. The only unoccupied room had issues with a recently cleaned carpet. The fix was bedspreads on the floor which was a trip hazard. We were so tired after traveling we opted to go ahead and spend the night. My sister still stepped on an area of the carpet that was missed during cleaning and had to scrub her feet. I did talk with the owner-manager. I do believe this experience was an anomaly. Other than the floor issue, the room was clean.

Manager seemed like he wanted the last amount of interaction with visitors as possible. The room I stayed in seemed like they have been working on updating the bathroom. Bathroom flooring seemed newer but carpeting in room was old old. Trim around the bottom of wall in bathroom was missing pieces. I'll look elsewhere in the future.

What breakfast? Drapes that black out light.
