Wasn't the welcoming message I wanted and we had to go find things to do for 40 minutes when we just wanted to take our shoes off and pee after a 4 hour drive. Pool was meh, continental breakfast was one of the worst I've experienced. Felt like a Motel 6 in the ghetto would have been a more pleasant experience. It was $200/night, so it's not like we picked a $60 budget hotel. Then we got an email at 8am asking us when we were checking out like they were rushing us to leave even though check out was 11am. There was a fleet of room cleaners walking the hall banging around. It just didn't feel like they wanted us there so they are going to get their wish. We are definitely not going back, and I recommend you don't go either. Sad experience. Do better!

I called the property directly and they were amenable to moving our stay date back one night (not a busy time) but they said that Expedia only could make that change. Expedia said that they would submit the request to the property and would let us know in 72 hours. Since we were 3 hours within the no-cancel timeframe, 72 hours was a no go and so we didn't stay at the property at all. Less AI and more helpful people at Expedia might have been more functional. My bad for having something come up. Their bad for not saying upfront we didn't have a chance for a credit/switch and leaving us in limbo for 72 hours (which ended up being after our non-stay by 2 days)

Everything was great during my stay except it was strong smell of chemicals in the room (probably chemicals they used for cleaning).

Location was great as we arrived by Breeze Bus from Mt Hood. The room and amenities were poor, the TV was very fuzzy, and the room was poorly insulated as we heard guests moving around all evening in the room(s) above us and loud music also. The desk light didn't work properly.
-
pool and hot tub better than expected. no street noise.
-
Breakfast isn't even Breakfast. The worst i have ever had.
-
The rooms were very clean and the staff had a list of recommendations while in town!

Quality service and cleanliness
-
Clean room and a/c worked well. Rooms were well insulated and relatively quiet. Beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly. Just be aware if you arrive before 4pm, an early check-in charge of $25.

Older hotel and is showing it’s age on the outside, but the rooms appear to have been updated a while ago

Clean but noisy neighbors next to us.

Bathroom was gross. Dirty baseboards, stains on the wall. Had a broken security lock on the front door. Desk light was broken. Room advertised as sleeps 5 giving the impression that there was a pullout chair or couch. But it was two queen beds. Breakfast was as advertised a grab and go. Don’t think I would recommend for a family.

The room was fine. they dont clean until we leave so why should we tip the maid.? the breakfast was lousy. we had stayed at days Inn else where and the food was great. we were very disappointed.
-
The staff was very nice and the room was very clean and nice! I would stay again for sure!
-
Not very clean - mold and mildew in the bathroom, floor not very clean either. Arrived 30 minutes before official check in time and they wanted to charge an additional $25 even though the room was ready. Vending machine not working properly. Definitely not worth paying the exorbitant summer rates.

Pool and spa area nice

The rooms are out dated. The sheets were not clean and neither was the bathroom. There is a bar behind the hotel that plays music until after midnight. The room was overpriced.

we showed up about 40 minutes early and were advised it would be a $25 early check in fee so we waited. The pool was large and outside we enjoyed that, it was pretty warm due to being an outdoor pool. The hot tub however had some weird stuff floating in it. But the lounge chairs pool side were nice to have. The bar behind the hotel can get kind of loud and there is also a bottle drop Which drew in a lot of the homeless population to it. We did hear a firework go off right outside the drive way and I saw a hotel staff walking briskly to check it out, he however missed the gust who lit it off but seconds, it was glad to see someone was willing to address it. What I did not appreciate was a housekeeper I assume knocking at 8am on our door waking us up. As I got to the door to look I noticed her walking away quickly with a clipboard, I asked if I could help her and she never stopped walking but looked back and said something I could understand and continued I asked her what did she say and she spared me a glance and kept going. I didn’t request a 8am wake up call.
