Overall, I had a decent stay, but I believe greater flexibility with check-in/check-out times or a pricing structure that reflects the actual hours of room use would provide a better value for guests.

The breakfast experience was very inconsistent. One morning was great, but the next morning was extremely disappointing. They ran out of coffee, potatoes, cinnamon rolls, and juice was not replaced. The omelets were made too far ahead of time and were cold, and the pancake machine was not working. The employee working the breakfast area seemed overwhelmed and did not appear very interested in helping guests. He was also wearing a weed dispensary hat, which did not seem very professional for a hotel breakfast area. The garbage cans were also completely full. We were also told the pool was heated, but it definitely did not feel heated. To make matters worse, we found an old pizza box sitting on the top shelf in our room with a date from March written on it. Considering our stay was in August, that really made us question how thoroughly the rooms are actually being cleaned and inspected between guests. There were some good parts to the stay, especially the breakfast on the first morning, but the lack of cleanliness, inconsistent service, breakfast issues, and the pool not being as advertised made the overall experience disappointing.

Overall, for just a quick one night stay it served our needs comfortably with no negatives.

Clean and in a good location I had reserved a room with a king bed months ahead of scheduled stay. At check-in I was told they had overbooked and only queen was available. I was told it was because I went through a third party company to book Booking.com). If this is your practice, it would have been nice to be notified of the change. Next time I book, I will not use a third party for booking.

This was perfect for my needs for a night. Outside of town, but a great place to stay if you are passing through or want to be in the area to the south of Bend proper. Nice places to walk my dog on the grounds. Spotlessly clean and well-maintained. Typical hotel breakfast. I felt safe and well cared for. Nothing glamorous, but if that’s OK this is a great spot. Our room was right next to the kitchen. We were woken up at 6am. No warning upon check it that it could be an issue. Not a pleasant stay at all.

The staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. When I requested additional towels, they were happy to provide them without any hesitation. One thing to be aware of is that the parking area is somewhat tight. There is only one entrance and exit, so if you are driving a larger or longer vehicle, it may take a little extra planning and maneuvering. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and smelled fresh. Overall, I had an excellent experience and would definitely recommend this Holiday Inn to others.
