La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Bend

One nighter for a concert, reasonable $ but showed in the upkeep and lack of food options. Mattress was horrible, tiny hard pillows, and our freaking smoke detector decided it needed the battery changed at 12:30 in the middle of the night! Feel like this is avoidable by basic upkeep and a schedule of changing out. Choices for their “hot breakfast” included waffles, some scrambled egg product and sausage. It’s a bleh from me, wouldn’t stay again

Stay was very good, did have 1 issue with bathroom fan as it was making bad noises, problem was that fan cover was completely blocked by lint and it was affecting the fan itself. I cleaned it out best I could and notified front desk.

No elevator (or it wasn’t working?). Great check-in & check out was just a key drop. The pool was right off the lobby & the dining area for the continental breakfast was in its own room, which was nice. The breakfast options were fairly basic though. The room was fine but subpar in the cleanliness area.

Breakfast options were decent. Sadly no make your own waffles Sunday morning when we actually had time to make them. Very dog friendly and price point for bringing a pet wasn't a rip off like other places!

This room #115 had a musty smell. It seems to have a moisture problum. The bathroom had paint pealing off the ceiling. While we were there the bathroom light went out the staff was helpful and brought a battery powered candel so we could still have light in it.

Pay attention to the star rating for this location. There are many other hotel options in Bend. This hotel was definitely not worth the price paid. It was clearly an older multi-story property without an elevator (we were on the second floor). The pool has been closed for over 7 months by the health department with a governmental warning on the locked pool door. The sink did not drain. The carpeting was worn and dirty. The ceiling in the breakfast area had areas that were roughed-in plaster that was not under active repair. The mattresses were uncomfortable and had not been maintained (replaced). You could easily compare this to a 1960's roadside motel that had not been maintained.

It was just real nice place to stay.

Breakfast was awesome people at the front desk were totally cool. Rooms were clean. Nice price was reasonable. I would definitely come here again.

I had a toilet that wasn’t working and it took them 2 days after several complaints to come up and them said maintenance would take care of it. The third day I called and maintenance wasn’t coming in until 9-11. What am I supposed to wait to go to the bathroom until someone comes and fixes it. After requesting to have another room on third day they finally transferred me. This place sucks. 800+ dollars and no facility for 3 days!

Staff and breakfast was good

Our issues began immediately upon arrival. We received no prior communication regarding the construction at the front of the building, which made accessing the hotel difficult. Upon check-in, we were disappointed to find the pool closed, especially as we had specifically chosen your hotel so our grandchildren could swim. Furthermore, we were surprised to find there is no elevator—a detail mentioned neither on your website nor on Expedia. As older guests, my husband and I had to haul our suitcases up and down the stairs ourselves. Had this been disclosed, we would not have booked this property. The girl at the front desk, the night we checked in on the 15th was cordial, but not helpful. She did get me larger pillows and came and took a picture of the stain on the wall and said that’s disgusting. Then she took a picture of the blackout curtains and said that’s an easy fix and left the room. No, we’ll have maintenance come and fix that right away man so my husband got up on a chair and pinned it up and still didn’t come all the way across like it should have been done by maintenance.We shouldn’t have had to do that. I don't recall seeing anything in the website about this location not have an elevator, but you gotta make sure people know this stuff! Also, this property is REALLY run down. Everything is super old. The room smelled very weird-like peanut butter and vomit and heavy cleaners. It was nearly 100 degrees outside but the AC was not running so when we opened the door to our room, we were hit with the weird smell as well as the heat. It made it very difficult to fall asleep. Also, the fan in the bathroom did not work and there was only one k-cup for coffee in a King room with 2 guests booked. The complimentary breakfast was pretty slim as well. It just seemed like the price per night did not reflect what we got. I would not return to this location, this was my first LaQuinta experience and I am not sure I would try it again.

Nice hotel and convenient location. Unfortunately the swimming pool has been closed for a long time (since Jan 2026)
