Incredible staff. Everyone so friendly, helpful and kind. Beautiful rooms and public spaces. And the views!!! Have a meal in the Limewood, excellent food and views.

Parking is a little tough, but it is in the city so what can we expect? There is a valet if you need that. Rooms are imaculate - restaurant and bar are wonderful - beautiful spacious lobby and halls. And there is a very helpful concierge. I was quite disappointed to see that the spa and gift shop are permanently closed. East Bay Provisions cafe is a favorite of ours for coffee and light breakfast options. AND - there are on site beehives - love! This is an all-time favorite hotel of ours - will return again - 10/10 recommend.

Beautiful property. Amenities were outstanding.

The property was very clean and the complimentary congratulatory desserts nice, I have to say that I was surprised that I had to use my Netflix account to access premium TV service at such a prestigious (expensive) resort location though. I have had better TV service in ordinary hotels. Overall our experience was enjoyable with the highlight being the fantastic night view of downtown Oakland, San Francisco, and both bridges. Overall, I felt we should’ve gotten a little more for the cost and rate our stay at 4.2

Location, gym, beautiful exterior. It wasn’t clean. My room had a pillow case that wasn’t clean. The air conditioner in our room didn’t work well.

I would particularly like to thank Jonas at the front desk and Nyima for always going above and beyond to make my stay great.

For some reason management upgraded me to the King Suite fit for a King. Lucky me! The room was spacious with a beautiful city / bridge view. On this clear night city lights were like jewels lit up like Christmas! Probably one of the best rooms I've stayed at. I have to say the staff treats me like family. I will return at at least 1 more time this year for this romantic experience. Thanks Claremont Management for always making me feel at home.

Wonderful hotel in beautiful location. We had 2 rooms. Excellent gym, and tennis courts. Historical. Rooms were smaller but the hotel made up for it. Parking but not too bad.

The pool and weight room and hot tub are amazing and provide a country club like experience in the best way possible. The location is perfect a quiet pocket on the Berkeley Oakland border, close to campus and an amazing bakery and burger spot right across the street. I always feel lucky to have the opportunity to stay here with my girlfriend. It’s very romantic and relaxing.

I wish I could have a "Claremont" in every place I vacation!!!
