Effie was amazing!! The room was roomy and the restaurant was great!

There was a huge group event being hosted at the hotel during our stay. The guests in the group were noisy and disrespectful of quiet times past 10pm. We normally have a pleasant stay at this hotel but I would not stay there again if they are hosting a large group event. Be sure to ask before you book.

Boy, this redefined work. Instead of sitting around a table in a conference room, we planned and strategized by the pool. We developed next steps while enjoying the restaurant, and we wrapped it up over Uber Eats on the patio. Very productive special two-day business trip. They won't all be like this, but it certainly worked this time.

Beautiful property. Courteous and helpful staff. Great fitness facility and offerings. Several walking options off property nearby.

Most staff are professional and worthy of respect, but the check in experience was the worst of my life, easily. Two nasty, uncaring people, right in front of my wife and me, denied us rooms that we had reserved months ago in favor of distant rooms with effectively unworking A/C in the middle of summer. Refused to give me another room, even chuckling at my plight! These horrible check in people should never have been allowed to do this to my wife and me. It was like a bad dream. The other staff later on that night, were better but it was too late--they gave me an absolutely terrible room, didn't move me to another room. I slept much of the night in my car in the parking lot, it was 80 degrees in my room that night!!! Most of the staff are fine, BUT THIS IS NOT A 5-STAR HOTEL ANYMORE. No 5-star hotel would ever do this to their guests. They decided to refund my resort fee, but I am now angry at myself for not challenging the bill altogether. I paid a lot of money to be treated--knowingly, I complained--like dirt and fully humiliated and abused by a staff that knew full well what I went through. The next day they apologized with a small portion refund, which I kind of respect but again a 5-star hotel doesn't let this happen!

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. My room was a little warm so I asked to be moved. I was told that the AC actually turns off after no motion or activity in the room. Not sure how true that is. But it was unusually humid and sticky in the room. I did not get a good nights rest for the three nights I was there. The property itself is a little outdated, but that I’m sure leads to the charm. I do feel like pictures online should reflect the true character of the hotel. I don’t believe there was enough picture. Had I seen more, I probably would not have chosen this hotel. Smelled a little old as well. I’m sure someone else would love it, but it was not for me.

High cost for resort fee and parking given the room cost. Main restaurant menu and food marginal. Coffee shop excellent.
