The biggest problem that I had with my stay was the fact that their bed was very cheap. The bed was soft and my back ache when I woke up. I unfortunately stayed 5 days and I had to put up with five days of back ache. I was going to cancel the rest of my stay, after the first night, but I found myself to busy to start looking for another lodge.

Cleanliness was especially good, i.e. the bathroom. And it was a very good feeling to see a Gideon bible once again in a motel room. The A/C worked well on a muggy night and it was simple to use. However, the availability of cold soft drinks (physically accessing them) was a bit disappointing and even depressing, nostalgically speaking, as the locking up of them diminished the traditional vacation "good vibe" of the simple pleasure of fun and freedom derived from buying soda in a self-serving vending machine in the wee hours of the morning to satisfy a yen. 21st century security-consciousness is, one supposes, the necessary "evil" in the situation.

My booking wasn't processed yet and they did not charge me a cancelation fee Bookings.com stated they were pet friendly both cat and dog. There was NO OTHER INFORMATION as far as what pet and the allowed length. When O got there the person was rude and couldn't be bothered. Event though I stated what bookings.com states, he did care and just kept repeating himself as to what their website says. He even stated that it says pet friendly on their web site but as you look further it will tell you only a dog and for 1 night only! This was deceptive!

The room was very clean. Check in was fast. Location works. Priced right !!

Good budget hotel overall, but just be warned of bugs in rooms. Not bed bugs, but flies, some kind of beetle, and obviously moths outside near lights.

Everything was great!!

Felt clean, mattress cover, spacious, newer carpet. No smells, nothing bad and no floral scents to try and cover something up. Staff gave a great recommendation for the pizza place across the street. Shower head was old, felt like it was difficult to get wet, bed was obviously worn. TV needs to be replaced, not a lot to watch though. The bedside laps didn't work, however there was a really cool headboard light that had a bedside switch.
